I would love some advice

Hi,

I'd love some advice, I'm really not sure what to do.

I want to launch a product. I have the product I've used for traditional online sales and I think it's a great product for Affiliate marketing that hasn't really been explored. The commission would be $150+ per sale plus additional sales. The market has over 150 000 sales annually.

So I want to launch it but I want to do it properly. My knowledge of IM is really nothing, I've just been made aware of the potential. I do know I want JV partner and I know I have to pay upfront for that. I accept that because you have to pay upfront for most specialists right?

My issue is finding a JV Partner. I have made contact with one but he has no references. I know he was certified by Willie Crawford but nothing else. He wants 5k and I know its a reasonable price but I have no way of verifying its a good choice or that he wont take my money and run. He's on here, which is how I found him but otherwise it would be a little bit of a stab in the dark for me.

I'm not accusing the guy, I may be missing out on a huge opportunity but it's the uncertainty that I struggle with.

I want to this right, I feel in my gut it could be a profitable launch with money for everyone. i'm willing to pay even more cash for the right JV broker but I've no idea how to find and assess who the right ones are!

Willie Crawford is one I've contacted and I'd be willing to pay his fee because I can see his reputation all over the internet so there is some assurance. But he hasn't answered back so I'm assuming he's not interested.

If anyone can help me out by pointing me in the right direction I would love to get involved with Affiliate Marketing and put together a really good launch. I would love to know what can of verification I should expect and also who is worth trying to contact.

Thanks in advance

Roy

Not sure I'd partner with someone who wants $5k like that? Isn't the roll of a jv partner to cross-promote each other?

"A joint venture involves two or more businesses pooling their resources and expertise to achieve a particular goal. The risks and rewards of the enterprise are also shared."

Shared! Not requiring $5k to partner with you.

You might try Coach Comeback, P. James Holland. He has a course on creating products and some related courses.

Be VERY careful. You are swimming with sharks once you mention you think a $5k fee seems reasonable.

Search this forum to find the "best" people to JV with and then be sure not to part with any money until you are seeing some results.

  • If you created the product, the sales page, the jv invite page and the affiliates signup page, then why are you paying someone to be your jv partner.

I'm not sure if paying $5,000.00 for jv partners is the norm where you come from. In my experience if you pay to get your product on jvnotify pro and jv news watch then you will get a ton of seasoned affiliates wanting to email out your product to their list on launch day.

I think you should go research joint venture partnerships in more detail. $5K is alot of upfront cash without any money back guarantee.

      Hi
Totally agree with comments above. No way should you be paying out $5k for a JV partner, unless they are bringing something amazing to the table. Normally you will get affiliates from just posting your offer and people approaching you from Warrior Forum, JVZoo etc. I found best thing was joining a good Inner Circle program (e.g. Alex Jeffreys) and partnering with people who I met with there regularly and understood rather than complete strangers, even if recommended. Good luck, sounds like its a good product idea.

So has this been tested with affiliate marketing?

Also, can you provide a list of exactly what you'd be expecting a partner to do? Do you need a website built or something?

Do you have a specific list?

Why not build relationships instead of paying?

Why not have a proven track record from you selling your product yourself along with stats to entice affiliates?

You just got put on a lot of wolves' radars with your comment that you've got $5000 + to burn. Be wary of anyone contacting you out of the blue or even recommendations. Lots of people here would do lots of harm for a piece of $5,000.

Education is the key. But be careful, you can spend a lot of money with little gain. Gather as much knowledge as you can and put your plan in writing and stick to it.
