How to find most popular Forums in our niche to post?

Hello mates,

Sorry, but I couldn't find my response elsewhere, that's why I cam to ask my question here....

After several hours of searching in Google with different keywords I couldn't find a very popular forum in my niche so that leave posts there and bring more traffic to one of my YT videos to increase the video rank in in YT....

I am wondering how do you find the most popular forums/communities and boards in your niche please?

Thank you for any help.

Just type your "name of your niche + forum" in search bar.

Yeah! Findaforum.net is the way to go!....

Awesome portal that lets you see all the available forums in the various categories.

BUT, dont get excited....see the forums individually and judge it yourself.

    -cheers-

As the others have stated, use Findaforum.net or just search "your niche forum" and choose the one that is the most relevant and qualified to fit your niche

Yes a google search is easy tof find forums. I also included findaforum in one of my guides lately as it's a great collection of forums in just about any niche.

If you want to find discussion you can also use a site like boardreader. This way you can see what people are talking about on any forum in your niche.

As others have mentioned the first step is knowing what niche you are targeting. From there you want go to Google and type in "Your niche + forum" and you want to check it out and see if it is active. Another thing you can do is go to Alexa.com and check out to see if it is a high traffic site. One thing you do not want to do is spend your time and energy on a dead forum. Always make sure the forum allows signatures if not you can be wasting time there to. Most importantly always remember to deliver value at the forum you are at, participate and help others.

Usually when you do a search for niche name+forum, you will find a lot of them. Sometimes you will get 1,000,000+ results. When this happens the best way to know which ones get the most traffic are the ones that are on page 1 of the search engine.

Most of the time, you need to use Google's search engine to find the best ones.

Thank you al, for your great comments.

Those forum finders were great, Thanks for them too....

I already used Google the way you mentioned, but the problem is that non of the result which come up using google or the finders you mentioned are not very popular. This meas that if I start a thread on one of them and add my YT link, I will get less than 100 visit (according to the other threads in the related section of the forum). That's why I don't call them so popular!

Googling is the best way to do it.

I know it seems nice to have some third party source - but think of it this way.

If the forum isn't ranked high in Google, then in all probability it isn't worth your while anyway... (Because it would be a ghost town).

      Thank you,

Regarding SEO you mean, or the number of members who find the forum??
For the prior, as I know most of forums are non follows, and don't have any affect in ranking.
