How To Post PUBLIC images on Amazon S3 for use by affiliates?

My GOD, Amaon S3's documentation is complicated.

And after doing a search both here on the forum and on S3's support documentation, I still can't quite figure out how to host images on my S3 account for use by affiliates.

What I want to do is something like they do on this affiliate resource page:
The Beta Switch Affiliate Profit Centre

As you can see, they have screenshot images of their video for use in affiliate campaigns linked from their own S3 account, which affiliates can use for promotion.

I would like to do the same thing, except every resource I've found is either dated (and has information about S3 which is no longer valid) or won't be configured the way I need it to.

So can anyone point to a step-by-step resource or have any suggestions on how to do this?

When logged into your S3 through your FTP client

    1. Right click on the image
    2. Click on "get info" (at least that's how i see it on transmit)
    3. Change "Read" option to "world" and click apply
    4. Right click again and click "copy path" -> this will be the url to load the image in a browser or in an html email or for you to at least display on your affiliate page for them to download to their computer and use as they see fit.
