Do I need an autoresponder for this?

Hey Warriors,

How do I get an email with an attachment to automatically send when somone purchases an informational product through a paypal button?

Just like when people offer WSO's through The Warrior Forum. Does paypal offer a service that responds to a customer automatically, or do I have to set something up on an autoresponder?

Hope that question makes sense.

    Yes, that is an autoresponder.

    Go with AWeber as they are the best.

    Additionally, you need to purchase and autoresponder ASAP if you are the slightest bit in IM for long term money.

    You can have a URL to send people to after they purchase via Paypal - you can set that up in the options when configuring your Buy Now buttons.

    You don't need an autoresponder to do this. You can go with Digital Product Delivery - Sell Downloads PayPal, 2CheckOut, Clickbank and more! they will automatically redirect after a PayPal payment is made.

    I believe e-junkie may offer the same service.

    You can also use DLGuard, which is very popular among Warriors. I've used the service for a long time and it's amazing! You can be very confident with the program and the support is great.

    I think JVM - Fantasos - Delavo allows you to do this.

    But it can get a bit pricey.

    You are probably better off with aweber or getresponse.

    I use Paydotcom, which uses Paypal, and it is very easy to set up the proper notification feature in that system. But for the long term, you do want to have your own autoresponder.

    Forgot about e-junkie - i highly recommend them if you are going to be doing this a lot. They are cheap and easy to use.

      E-junkie is good but does not handle recurring billing (last time I checked). Although the original OP is not looking for recurring - it is nice to set something up that you can grow with in the future and not have to make changes later.

    Yes. An autoresponder can send it, but it is NOT a secure way of product delivery. You need a secured folder on your web site where your buyer logins and download the product.

    Autoresponders are more useful with sending free reports.
