MrBabyMan recently came under attack by Digg users and was asked to be banned. He responded with a live chat and videocast.

If you use Digg for traffic, there are some marketing gems in there worth listening for.

Here's some interesting things:
  • Shouting stories to friends makes them easier to bury. This is because Digg penalizes any diggs that look 'automated' . It boosts 'natural looking' diggs.
  • Before the 'recommendation engine', submitting too many posts penalized you. With the release of it, digg now encourages the submissions of more stories.

    Well i guess from now on i had better start to look at the date of posts.
