can I have a redirecting url in the first page of Google, Or is there any other solution for me?

Hello,

I am wondering if I rank a domain which is not connected to a host and website --it is a redirecting domain-- in google, so that when people type it in google, the first result happens to be the URL link? The URL is watermarked in my YouTube video and redirects the visitors to a clickbank hoplink, so it is not directly connected to a website... The problem is that I noticed some of visitors who watch my YT video simply type the URL address in 'google' instead of address bar! and the google shows the vendor website as the first results (my domain name is very similar to the vendors domain name)... SO I am wondering what can I do in this regard?

Thanks for any help or suggestion.

    Hi,

You can't rank a redirect in Google, it just doesn't work that way.

What you can do is set up a wordpress.org site for free, you don't pay anything for hosting on the wordpress.org platform, then you attach that website address to your new wordpress blog.

Other than that, you should maybe have a strong call to action at the end of your video, your last words should be "Click on the link below" and have a couple of bright red arrows pointing down to your link, and keep those arrows pointing down for 30 seconds at the end of your video. Also, the entire video should be under 2 minutes (including the 30 seconds of arrows at the end)

Thank you sir for your response.

      4 questions please:

      1. I didn't completely understand the bold part... Suppose I have a real host and this domain, then can I do something while the domain still carries the clickbank hop-link?

      2. right now I have another website (its url is the same as the original one in our subject plus term review --ie myurlreview.com--) which is a review to what I promote. Can I do something that when people search the name of my redirected url they see my review website as the first result of google?

3: Can you please let me why the video should be less than 2 minutes

4: I have uploaded the video, how I can add those arrows then?!

      Thank you.
