I'm new to the IM world, and I need a bit of help.. Pretty please.

Ok, I'm currently in the development stage of my niche internet business but their are two things that I need to figure out and they are,
I don't know where to start as far as finding logos, creating logos, or anything and browsing the web has really gotten my nowhere. Where do I start? I just want to create, or find a logo that's my website name at the least. I want to it to be good one though, not outdated. How would you recommend a beginner to start with this process?

I also want a professional email address that has my websites name instead of gmail like I stated above. I want this account to be linkable with Aweber. Where do I start? Can Namecheap do this for me? Or are their others?

Thank you all. I'm a beginner that's learning fast, and I will keep learning, each and every day.

Okay I'm not quite sure if I got everything you asking but first at all you have to buy a domain name. You can do this for example at Namecheap. Next thing is you have to host this domain somewhere. There are tons of options out there to do it but I would personally go with Hostgator or Bluehost at least in the beginning.

Over there you can setup your personal email like ....@yourdomain.com

Next thing is your logo. Maybe you have something in mind already but if you don't have then outsourcing it would be the way to go. You can find everything you need on 99designs.com for example or for cheap on fiverr or seoclerk.

The last point is a bit unclear because aweber has nothing to do with your personal email, it's just an autoresponder service which you will need when you want to start an list!

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Jordan,

You could check somewhere like Odesk, Elance or Fiverr for your logo. Likewise, you could check out the "Warriors for Hire" subforum of the WSO section here on the forum.

With regards to your e-mail address, you should be able to sort that out in your hosting. If you have cPanel then you should be able to do it in the "Mail" section under "Email Accounts". If in doubt, get in touch with your host and they should be able to answer any queries you have.

In GetResponse you can setup the 'sent from' and 'reply to' addresses as anything you want quite easily. I haven't used Aweber but I would imagine the process to be pretty much the same and just as easy.

I hope that helps and I wish you all the best with your learning and the growth of your online business.

          Hi Jordan,

It's really easy to setup your email account with your domain account.
Just go to CPanel, login at http://yoursitenamehere.extension/cpanel.

Then under email accounts you simply create a new email account. Done!

          Hope that helps!

Can Namecheap do this for me? Or are their others?
Anywhere you register a domain will allow you to create email addresses. You don't even need hosting.

One of the things you should do is to take out your Gmail address from your post if you plan on still using it for any reason. If you don't, you will be hit with a lot of new spam.

Its good your being meticulous with this. But just do not go overboard.

I never thought a Logo really mattered much in IM.

      That's just me though.

    For the logo try Freelancer.

For the email just create an email address in your Cpanel (comes with your hosting)

    Jordan,

The logo aspect can easily be outsourced via fiverr for 5 bucks if you have some spear change and the website email this you can do from your back office of the domain hosting company that you are using or the company you bought your domain from.
