Are You Killing Your Credibility (and sales) by Neglecting This?

Sorry this is not one of those ... "What would you do if you could start over" or "only had $20" post. So it may be on page 4 in 10 minutes. So, read fast or bookmark it!

With so many experienced and knowledgeable marketers on the Warrior Forum. It still shocks me at the number of signatures I click on with beautiful websites and squeeze pages that don't have an "About Page". Huh?

If you don't have one in 2015 you're leaving money and credibility on the table (despite all the other work you do) Here's why.

You may be able to slide by with starry-eyed newbies - with little or no money to buy your product. But the savvy ...Ready, Willing and Able buyers (all marketers crave) want the following more and more.

Today's prospects don't just want to know about your product, service or even website. They want to know more about ...
  • YOU!
  • Your story!
  • Your background (qualifications)!
  • Your mission (or mission statement)!

Having an About Page is an important part of building the "trust, credibility, relationship" formula. What marketers must strive for in this growing "skeptical consumer" world. It's now the new normal.

In many cases, I've avoided buying because the About Page was missing. Statistics prove more and more I'm not alone. My first thought is ... What Do You Have To Hide? - And so do other educated buyers with fat pockets.

Still doubt or poo-poo what I'm saying? As always I encourage you to do your own research - but the links below should get you started.

    Nice post Niche Man,

Yes, I think every site should have a truthful About page. Site visitors look for it and I believe Google also wants to see it. Google is all about offering up a relevant and valuable user experience and the About page certainly can add to relevancy for the visitor.

    The best to you,

    Steve
