I Need Tips For Conversions

As with my previous post I'm sitting on top of millions of impressions per month via my free dating site. I can't seem to get anything to convert in terms of other offers. I've tried other dating offers, weight loss offers, financial offers, get her offers. Things that single men and women might be thinking about while on a dating site yet nothing converts. I've also tried optional landing pages and things just don't convert. I've got a .40% CTR going on but nothing converts. Only thing that converts is my AdSense and that's only because people click on the ads. I just want more out of my site.

I said this in my previous post but you may want to think about signing up to a CPM network as a publisher where you can be paid for ad impressions instead of trying to be paid for ad clicks.

I also gave you a number of other options you can try.

One thing that just occured to me is that what you need to do is get MUCH more sophisticated with how you offer things to people.

What if you programatically noticed how many times someone tried to contact someone versus how many responses they got and when that fell below some sort of statistical average POINTED IT OUT to them that it was happening. Your offers might have more success if you said, "noticed you're having a hard time getting women to contact you back. consider checking this out ..."

Or, "The guys don't seem to be responding all that well. Let us give you some psychological tricks that practically force the guy you want to fall in love with you."

But again you'd have to figure out how to use the data of your site to do those kinds of things.

You would think that those clickbank offer landing pages would have that down to a science. I'm using offers that have a gravity of 40 or higher. Here's the strange thing. I've been running offers for over 3 months and not one offer made a conversion. Not one. I've tried over 25 different offers in the dating space as well as things like hosting, diet, finance, software, how to and get her offers. Not one thing converts.

Have you considered that your low conversions might be due to combination of a "generic" freebie seeking audience (that comes to your free site) and offers that you've chosen that are not appealing to these people?

I would suggest you look for things to offer that work well with a non-specific audience . . . like getting paid to give away free trials or selling ad space, or re-targeting your traffic to coupon sites, etc.

The problems you're having are exactly why it's important for most businesses to go after highly targeted traffic so you know exactly what your visitor's are searching for and what they will spend money upon.

Think about if you were your customer. What kind of value could you offer that, say, 70% or more of your customers are looking for to help themselves grow and develop? Basically think, "I'm offering my customers this product and service, many of my customers are also looking for x, y, z - how can I offer more value to my customers, build on what I already have, and take my business to the next level?"

What would help you if you were in their position, and what can you offer them to expand your offerings to benefit them and their lives that they would want to pay you for?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Try A/B testing all of your offers - then see which offers provide the highest conversion rates.
Then stick to the highest converting offer.

I suggest you try to check the profiles of your visitors by analyzing the website they visited before coming to your site. By doing this, you will be able to know what is their interest and be able to narrow what affiliate offer to promote to them.
What I do personally in promoting affiliate offers is I use alexa and quantcast to get this information then based from this I will be able to determine what offer would convert to that kind of audience.
    or better yet...
How about offering advertising space on a flat rate per month in your site aside from adsense? I might be the buying ad space.. =)
