I recently came into about $500.

I would really like to start making money on the internet.

Where would you invest that?

Should I put it into some learning materials or should I just go for it? (I learn best by doing)

Spend some time on the forum observing what's going on.

Use the search function to study and research topics that interest you.

Lock your money away and don't spend a cent until you have a good game plan - otherwise it will be gone before you are ready to get serious about what you're doing.

There is plenty of free information and help here to get you started.

You'll need to buy a domain name (under $10), some hosting ($5/month), and an autoresponder ($15/month). With those three things you can get started and have income into your business.

Save the bulk of your money until you're making money and want to ramp up your proven sales system.

    The very best to you,

    Steve

    Hello!!

Invest in a Domain and Hosting (To Setup you own wordpress blog) a Domain name cost like $10 anual

Invest in a Good Autoresponder and create a landing page (To build your list) if you go with GVO autoresponder cost like $10 every month plus you get also hosting.

Invest in Some Facebook Ads (to get traffic to your landing page or blog)

Create good content and putting on your blog, so you can get traffic for google and try to work hard in building your list, if you focus in this steps, you can build a empire online.

And dont loose all your money in buying course, if you want to invest, only invest in the tools and traffic to build your empire online.

Like they said above, you should save most of your money until you have something worth spending money on advertising. You could easily start a website and hire a website designer for the logo and design for under a $100 if you search around the forum. I would recommend finding a good niche that has a mix of low end and high end products that you can sell on Amazon in order to raise your commission rates. You'll need to start writing content 2-3 times a week when starting out or hire somebody to do them for you. You might want to spend $100-$200 on articles if needed as this is going to help you more than anything right now and will give you valuable backlinks over time. I would also recommend making YouTube videos of all of your posts and adding the link to them in the video and then adding them to your posts for some extra link juice. It can still take 6-7 months to really see any progress or sales when owning a blog but you can use this time in order to make it the best that it can be and remember that the more content that you add, the better off you are going to be when it finally starts getting ranks in Google. After you have something pretty good and start getting subscribers, you should probably spend the other $200 on Facebook ads or Bing ads. This should give you a the best chance of getting your money back and having a longterm income that could easily make you more than that each month. Just use adsense, amazon, clickbank, cpas, hosting, etc but you will need alot of traffic in order to make sales

I learn best by doing also, but eventually you might want to find a mentor who knows how to do exactly what you are trying to do.

(And no, I'm not a mentor at the moment. )

Save your money for now, and then use it for outsourcing later, when you have a better handle on things.

I would put it aside, go on YouTube, look at some different experts to find the one whose values, goals, and skills align with what I need, then work on developing my skills, and mastering whatever they teach, so my money will be used in the wisest way possible.

Otherwise, you risk blowing that $500 and getting nothing - patience is a virtue.

Even if you learn best by doing, you still want to know the right techniques to practice beforehand, because then when you start doing you'll have a better foundation behind you than you would going in empty handed.
