Is this a legit method for traffic?

Just clicked out of curiosity, is this a legit tactic/method to generate traffic or is it blackhat type stuff?

    The method he is using seems legit, because he is actually making a legitimate deal with the youtube channels owners to put his links in their videos

      This is a legitimate and ethical marketing tactic that's been used by some top marketers for some time. I first heard about it from Sarah Staar some time ago in one of her videos about capitalizing on other people's YouTube videos, and later from a couple of other marketers who are in MLSP.

      It sounds like this guy has cleverly developed software to automate the process for you which will save you a lot of time.

      It's not a method I've personally tried myself because I'm not at the point yet in my business to pay anyone else for placing my links in their video descriptions, however when I get to that point, I'd like to try it!

    I tried this software a few months ago without any success and now I can't get any support. I would not recommend it. If I had it to do over I would take that money that I spent gor the software and have 5 short videos created and get them ranked on Youtube by building backlinks.

      You can also do it manually. Unfortunately, Sarah Staar's YouTube Hijack program is not currently available. I purchased it when it first came out in 2012 and learned a lot, but it's since sold out.
