Do you create a separate thank you page...

...for each separate lead generation landing page sequence in order to make it easier for the tracking codes to work?

Or do you make one single thank you page, and have ways to make it work with the landing page software you use?

I'm asking this b/c I'd like to clean up bad habits in order to make my process more efficient.

    I have 1 thank you page, but use a separate bridge page on my different squeeze pages. That way if I am using different tracking I can keep things a bit more organized.

    It depends on, what type of tracking you are using for your conversions. I am using two different programs to track conversions of traffic from different sources.

    Yes, I am using only one thank you page in one of my project. Just, you have to generate a new tracking code for each source and then conversions are tracked thru all sources.... even down to email source... I mean which email came into my autoresponder thru which source, and how that email is performing(open rate, click rate, spam rate).....

    If I'm giving away the same report, then I'll use one thank you page and then just create multiple squeeze pages to split test everything.

    On the other hand, If it's a different one, I rather put it on a separate thank you pages so I can use them on a different campaign. (Recycling your resources)

    I have my own 'personalized' lead capture pages and (1) thank you page. All pages are hosted by my web hosting. The thank you page has a 'redirect' script on it that takes my visitors directly to the sales page without them noticing my thank you page.

    Each page up to the sales page has a 'tracking' code embedded it.

    This gives me way more data at the click of a mouse.

    Yeah, I use the same thank-you page, but multiple squeeze pages to track everything and analyze my conversion rates to see what works best.
