Curious about these niches

Hello everyone!

Aside from my PLR projects that I will be undertaking shortly, I have been contemplating getting myself into some new niches for my article marketing. I was just looking for some added opinion if I should spend time in them or not.

Ill start with a few that I am interested in.

#1 Golf - I love golf. Its my favorite sport and I have been playing for quite a while now. This niche is where I made my first sales as an affiliate online, but fear that its too seasonal. Been thinking about getting into more physical products, but I am not to sure.

#2 Video Games - When I'm not working on my affiliate work, I play video games. There is always a huge demand for new games and systems (I know this all to well :p) but is it profitable enough to get into? I would love to write on this all day long if it was worth my time.

#3 Music - I am a music fanatic. If I am not listening to music, then I am probably asleep. Music just seems to be too competitive, but I could be wrong.

All of these are my life. This is what I love besides IM. IM seems to be way too competitive, so I have been avoiding it. Most other topics just bore me to death, but these I know I can write on them and would enjoy it in the process.

Any tips or ideas with these? I would love to hear from you all

Thanks again everyone! You have been a great help.

~David

The world is round. Golf is not seasonal. It is always golfing season somewhere. However golf is a massive market. Too big. You need to narrow this down to clubs, swings, mental exercises whatever...

Video games, again is massive. Narrow it down by doing keyword research. If you can find long tail video game keywords with the right metrics go for it. Use Market Samurai.

Music again is too big. If you find a subniche you like you can profit in it. It has to be something you like, and it has to be small enough to dominate.

I would say no to none of the above. But you need to do long tail research to find your sweet spot.

Yeah I understand the keyword research and all that, but I was just curious about the niches themselves. I could come up with ideas for the video game market, but I was curious if it would be profitable enough to bother getting into.

About golf, thats a good point I didnt think about that. I will probably build up my earlier campaign, which is a specific niche in the bigger golf niche.

Video games would probably be the most interesting of them all, and I would love to make a living promoting products in the industry. I just don't know how reasonable that would be.
