Would Internet Marketing Benefit a Window Cleaning Company that clean windows around there local city/town?

If so how?
What would you do to grow this sort of business?
Is this space worth investing into?

Thanks guys.

  • I am pretty new to this, but I think yes definitely.

With something like google adwords you can geotarget your marketing so your ads keywords "Window Cleaning Company" has your company show up when someone in your area does a google search.

    • IM can help with many things like:

      1. Dominating local search (be found first in google for "window cleaning my city" etc)
      2. Building a list of customers and prospects
      3. Social Proof

That said it maybe better to outsource the whole thing to someone for a few $100 a month, depends on how much time you have to spend on it.

  • Absolutely. For starters, marketing your business online increases your reach so more people can find you. If you don't have an online presence right now, establish one - right now.

I suggest establishing a Facebook page that matches your website branding as well.

Once you have an internet presence, begin building your facebook fan base. Since I don't know anything about your business, I can't tell you what kind of content to create but what you want to do is build an audience of people whom you are trying to reach.

As you build hat audience and build a relationship with them, you can begin marketing your services to them.
  • When you have your own website online, you can reach more people. You can show people your services online when they have the time to take a look at your service.

You also have the benefit to use social marketing/paid ads to get far more customers then you would marketing your business offline.

    • Along with some good replies from folks that I know know what they're talking about and one huckster posting a blatant ad in defiance of the rules, you're only getting half of the story.

Along with finding new business, a thriving online presence, particularly the combination of a good website, email publication and Facebook page, can help you build the proverbial fence around the customers/clients you already have. This is especially true for smaller businesses who can't man the phones 24/7 and aren't big enough to get away with 7-rings-of-hell voicemail menus.

It's right and good to spend time and effort seeking new business, but it's often more profitable to better serve the business you already have. This is especially true in service businesses that depend on long term or recurring projects like washing windows, landscaping, etc.
