3 Great EasyTips

1. What To Promote ->
Do NOT promote everthing. Its very easy to get carried away and want to promote many different things at once especially for beginners . Make sure you are very selective and do a thorough research on your niche and product. Zoom in on your niche and pick a targeted market. Make sure they are fulfilling a real need or want for your audience.

2. Check Stats ->
You dont have to keep your eye on your stats every minute of your waking life but keep your eye out to see which products work and focus all your attention on those instead of wasting time on the ones that aren't making you any money. Click through rates are important. They will show you how many people have clicked on your site. If your click though rates are high but you have had no sales then you know you should change something on your site to make it more presentable. A landing page , blog , etc.

3. Promote different ways ->
You have to take action and find different ways to promote your product. Dont expect to copy a banner on your sidebar and expect money to come rolling in. Posts are great when they include links. Be sure to give your audience a thorough review of the product explaining the benefits before just sticking a link that has nothing to do with the post's content.

Good luck to everyone .

    Agreed, I'd rather promote one quality product until I start to see results - then I'll start to add more in.

        I can agree with this to an extent because it can get messy and overwhelming if you're doing a 100 things at once , as if you were focusing on one at a time.

    I would take the 2nd advice which is a problem for me. Checking stats three times a day is eating my time and distracting me. 1x per day is enough I guess.

      Lol yeah that is deff enough my friend. Some people can get too hung on the results and end up "waiting" for success more than actually working if you know what I mean.

    When you're starting out, checking stats can become addictive -- especially after you've gotten your first couple of commissions. The trouble is that it can stop you from putting work in, if you let it. Focus on doing "money-making" tasks first. I also agree with getting to know your niche and being selective about what you promote. When I first got started and didn't know what I was doing, I signed up to promote everything but ended up promoting none of it. After a while, you get deactivated from promoting a product since you've made no sales. This could come back to bite you in the butt if it's something that you actually want to promote later on down the line.

    Great post but I have to really bring this one concept home:

    Online marketers that FAIL to understand that concept have a EXTREMELY HIGH chance of FAILING.

    Seriously.

    Instead of reinventing the wheel, look at sources of traffic.

    Figure out what they need.

    Ask questions. Finetune the value you'll be offering.

    Then build....

    Be ready to TWEAK what you've built based on the BEHAVIOR of your traffic.

    Master this one rule and you WILL BE SUCCESSFUL. No joke.

    Sadly. People ASSUME they know what will be a hit and they FAIL.

    Again and again.

    To any newbie reading this thread, DRILL THE TEXT IN RED ABOVE INTO YOUR HEAD! Thank me later!
