Amazon Associates - Add to cart link - question?

Hi.

I've researched everywhere but can't find the answer...

I am familiar with Amazon add to cart links providing a 90 day cookie on anything the user adds to their basket, however do you know if you also get commission on anything else added to their basket during the 90 days or on anything else purchased?

Thanks

I believe so, but I would try to talk to Amazon on the phone or via email first.

Once you send a person to Amazon through your affiliate link, the 24-hour cookie is activated. Anything that a person adds in their cart during the 24-hour window will be accredited to your account. Anything that they add after this, you will not get credit for.
To clarify, the 90 days only applies to anything they put in their cart during that 24 hr "session".

Using an "add to cart" link simply sends the item straight to the cart and the customer then has the normal 90 days to complete the transaction.

I posted a far too detailed explanation here in an identical thread the other day...
