Replacing adsense with affiliates?

Hi, i just got rejected by google adsense, they say i have +18 content in my blog, after bitching a while...i was wondering if i can just put clickbank affiliates link instead of adsense, and just put banners with the affiliate links in the spaces that i was going to put adsense.

I read that in order to get money with affiliate links i should get good at selling, but i dont understand why i cant just put banners with the affiliate links instead, it should work as fine as adsense...Right?

What do you think? Should work the same way? Or i have to make separated posts to sell the affiliate products?

Cheers .

I dont have adult content at all, Google is a bitch that when they see a word like "tits" or "sex" they label the site as adult content, i am pissed of becuz if i want to get approved i will have to go all over my site replacing words like "sex" with more naivs words....Thats why i was looking for an alternative as profitable as adsense, taking into account that my site IS NOT a porn site.

Is a site with funny news and videos, that have a lot of virality, videos like "Hollywood stars without make up", and news like "Old guy go to jail trying to have sex with a mail post". I don't even know what niche is that, but I like the "virality" things so I did a blog about that :p, and on clickbank is easy to find products that give you 75% commissions..

I think that banners in "love" or "pickup" , and "cash", niche it would be perfect to a site like mine...What do you think?

One of the first things they teach you when it comes to making money online (and in business in general) is that you need to focus on people who are willing to spend money. People who are looking for free stuff aren't willing to do that.

I am not running an adult blog, but people who enters to my web site doesn't expect to waste money since they come to see news like "Ronaldinho just ****ed a fatty" but the same thing would happens with adsense, right?

            Mohohoho,

Judging from the things that you said in this thread -- These are some of your options:

            1. Display banners of your affiliate Clickbank ads (with your affiliate links, of course)?
You can test this out and see if you get significant conversions ...

            2. Go with another advertising network that accepts ad publishers and offers significant CPC rates?
            This is self-explanatory ...
You can just search here or in Google for the best alternatives to Google Adsense ...

            3. Embed Dailymotion video content (with ads and your syndication key as a Dailymotion publisher) that matches the theme and categories of your site?
This'll allow you to use the videos of others and earn ad revenues generated from views that your embedded videos get ...

            4. Private ads?
You can try to contact advvertisers and affiliates who could most likely be interested in acquiring paid ad space in your site ...

            5. CPA offers?
You can study your traffic demographics and the niches of the content that they're viewing in your site, in order to match your traffic with suitable CPA offers that could potentially be enticing for a significant percentage of your traffic to fill out ...

            6. Build a mailing list of subscribers that you can recommend affiliate products to?
Since your site covers a multitude of niches, then you can from time to time offer an irresistible opt-in content material that falls under a certain category where a significant percentage of your traffic would most likely be interested in ...
For example, a compiled video collection of the top 10 funniest bloopers in some of the most popular movies of 2014 would probably entice a good percentage of traffic that goes to your site so as to watch entertainment-related content (such as the example you mentioned about photos / videos showing how popular movie stars look like without make-up), and, after two months or so, offer another opt-in content material that appeals to another significant percentage of your traffic, and so on ...
This'll allow you to build different mailing lists and recommend suitable affiliate products to each list ...

Looking at this list again -- I think you can even test out a combination of these things ...

Try looking into Peerfly - https://peerfly.com (Not an affiliate link) They have promotions that you might be able to work in to you site. Two recent ones were adult themed not porn. You may want to take a look into it.

However just pasting a bunch of banners on your site will not help you make money. If that was the case, every site out there would be nothing but banners and no content.

That is not true at all. You don't need to be good at selling. If you send targeted traffic to a converting offer, the vendor pretty much does all the selling for you.

If you can get targeted traffic to your own website and then have interested prospects click on the affiliate link, your ONLY job is to get as many prospects as possible every single day. Let the sales page or sales video sell for you.

    I prefer SwitchAds over Adsense.

The best choice I would make had I been in your situation would be to put affiliate banners.

SwitchAds allow you to set a CPC limit for example you can set $0.30 as your limit so if they are having an advertiser willing to pay $0.30 per click, the ad will be shown on your site else your pre-defined HTML code will be shown, you can put the banner as the backup option.

    This will work great!

I myself use SwitchAds with Adsense, so if SwitchAds does not have an advertiser, normal adsense ads are shown but I've seen no decline in my adsense earnings and I am making more money with SwitchAds, so that more than 200% profits.
