Help! Keyword Research

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi,

I have found a niche with some great products but I have no idea how to use keyword research.

What I want to do is create squidoo lenses with low competition and highly searched words but there are so many methods that I don't know what to do.

Any tips would really help like how many pages on Google is too much competition, how do you find the keywords search etc.

Just put the main keyword into the Google Keyword tool and find keywords that have a search volume of between 20K-50K. Then take those keywords and enter them into Google with the allintitle tag (allintitle: "keyword phrase"). Anything under 12k is good. HTH.

i would suggest hubpages instead of squidoo. hubpages seem to be more popular with google than squidoo now for some reason

  If u're targeting for long tail keywords, wordtracker is the best tool.
  
  for short one, u can use google tool.
  
  both have free version to try.
