    I'm guessing a good portion of those in the IM community are ready, but real-world businesses are going to end up getting slapped so ridiculously hard it's not even going to be funny.

    I sent out one email to about 20 of the little mom and pop restaurants in my area to tell them what's happening with the next update It's a little hard to track since I got so much word of mouth, but I'm currently well over a 100% conversion rate. Once they read about the opportunities they'll have to become super-visible practically overnight, the phone calls haven't stopped.

      I guess you have not been reading some of the posts here that much. I would bet that at least half the people here are not ready at all, unless they have unwittingly used a mobile friendly theme.

      I've planned to cold call a couple of businesses in my local area this week and this will be a good selling point to bring up.

      Not mobile-friendly
      x Page appears not mobile-friendly
      x Text too small to read
      x Links too close together
      x Mobile viewport not set
      x Content wider than screen

    April 21st is the update id going to come out from the Google . Where we need to have mobile friendly websites to get higher rank in the Google.

    Thanks for this link! All of our sites/blogs are good to go. I took two weeks to update the theme on all of our blogs last month, before the Google "alert" was broadcast. Thank goodness!!

    Yeah -- Our website has been mobile-friendly several months before this SEW article announced last year that mobile use now exceeds PC use globally, in all major languages, which is the biggest recorded shift since the beginning of the Internet ...

    And, our tech guys again checked, tweaked and optimized our website after our founder published this article about Google's announcement of displaying more mobile-friendly page results for mobile search starting this April 21, which will significantly affect all locations globally, in all supported languages ...

      Michael, your site might be mobile friendly, but the image in your post certainly isn't.

      You might want to resize it.
