Just need a second opinion on my site!

Site is loading slow on my computer. Everything else seems alright. All things are on their place and it's very simple for people.

It seems too basic. It doesn't seem up to date in terms of font, colors, and overall PRESENCE.

Since you're selling your PERSONAL BRAND, you might want to invest in a more professional design.

I think your design is heading the right way, but right now it's still a bit messy. Could you try to break up the blog post by adding boxes or lines? I think it would make your whole site look a lot more organized.

There's a lot of unused space on your site, try to to make it more compact if you can!

Not sure if I dig the colors, I would change it but that's just my personal opinion.

I think you should consider out sourcing some help to take what you have and make it more modern.

I'm a developer for a living and I would love to share some pointers with you.

1. Get modern (Your site is outdated and old)

2. Hire a pro for all graphics and designs (Don't use WordPress theme's) it's 2015 and people know the difference between pre-made and custom design.

3. Take time to plan the design and learn about wire frames. Wireframes are the blue prints to your website and having them made before you build a website will deliver exactly what you want.

4. Use WordPress! In an interview with Matt Cutt's who basically is head of Google's algorithm, Matt was asked what he thought about WordPress. Matt said that having WordPress take's care of 80% of SEO.

5. Most plugin's are bs and if you want real site functionality then consider having someone do some custom programming to get exactly what you want from your site.

Be careful because most people are not designers they just watch video's on youtube and throw up a theme. I must warn you that being I have been doing this for 7+ year's at 40 hours or more per week, I can promise that the people who make it big online have the right tool's that only custom work can provide.

Site loads really slow. I think the design is fine for what you are doing but I would try to do something with you header, little basic and nothing going on. Also your subscriber form looks cookie cutter like you are from Get Response. I would use a plugin to make a better looking one.

I like it Karl I don't consider myself a web designer. I have been creating income online for 20 years.
It has a nice feel to it I think probably because you created it and put alot of your time and energy into it.

Looks good, but looks like it still needs some refining around the edges to give it that professional look.

Play with different fonts. A simple font change to something like proximanova, georgia, source sans pro, or open sans can drastically change the look and feel of your site.

Also make your post titles bigger. They're so small.

First of all, it takes a while to load. You should fix that.
As for the design part, it looks nice and clean, but not very professional. The articles look a bit crammed together and your header needs some work because it's a bit empty. Hope it helps!
