"Can't Live Without Resource"- Do you have one?

Hey Warriors,

Just wanted to share a few of my "can't live without resources"

1. Ezinearticles.com

Great for submissions like everyone knows but it is also great for finding JV partners and hot topics in a niche.

For JV partners, I usually head to the "Top Authors in 'insert niche'"

15 people show up. Depending on my knowledge of the niche, I can usually tell who is a real expert and who is an affiliate marketer. I visit the top authors/experts and usually can make contact relatively easily (that is why they publish articles...to be found).

For hot topic research, I usually browse the "most viewed" and "most published" under the articles themselves. These are updated so you can get a good idea what information the marketplace is looking for.

This is a good starting point for research. You have to delve further to find out if these topics are worth creating a product for...but that's another story.

2. Camtasia

I learn something every single day with this program. Amazes me all the time. It's relatively easy to convert your print products into video presentations. Just use powerpoint and talk about the stuff.

This is a good way to hit two other major learning styles (seeing and hearing). When you combine the written, seen, and heard senses you provide a much more complete learning environment. This is always good for establishing yourself as a value provider.

For now those are my two "can't live without resources"...which ones do you have?

Cheers,

Brad Spencer

Sounds boring but it's my Notepad. ( PC desktop and pen and paper )

All of my first info products were written that way.

This is a little bit embarrassing but after doing everything like that when I first tried using Word I was confused by all of the options and special help screens and tutorial pop ups.

Just too many choices I had to make

Oh, I need to throw in Open Office now.

Notepad++ and Photoshop, hands down. Without these two things, I'm useless.

XsitePro2 -- At some point I might regret the crutch, because I hear it's difficult to modify XsitePro2 pages in other editors. For now, I love it. It lets me make attractive pages super fast. If I looked into it, I'd probably find that there are some great alternatives, but this does the trick for me. I think it cost like 100 bucks, and I don't regret it.

MS Word -- Besides writing, I often use it to make ebook covers, format pictures, etc.

Gmail -- I use it to send and receive mail from all accounts. I love filters and labels. My secret pleasure is pressing a label that I've assigned to sales receipts from a certain ebook, and seeing all the sales stacked nicely in a row, like this:

    Seriously though...

    OpenOffice.org 3.0

It's a POWERFUL money making tool.. this of course, assumes that we are allowed a machine to run it on..

    Peace
