website hits from porn referrals...help needed

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey, hoping someone can help recently gone live with my first ever site. Which is nice. Anyway checking Google analytics live shows I'm getting referrals from Russia via porn site forums.
I've tried getting on the forum link which is being displayed. But I am met with an access denied page.
I have read some other forums trying to sustain out what's happening. Does anyone have any ideas?

You might be the victim of ref spam. Quite an old trick. It is used primarily to lure b2b leads but people do get careless or desperate and try it for b2c sites.

  Hey, thanks for the quick response what's the best was to block the url that is being used as the referral, as the website will be example.com/topic(number changes with each referral) if I amend the htaccess file to block urs can I get it to block anything with the example.com and then that will block all subsequent topic referrals.

If your site is created using wordpress, you can use spam referrer blocker plugin.
