Article & Content syndication help!

Hey there,

I know Alexa Smith talked a lot about article & content syndication before.

I just want to know if any of them are valid ways of getting website traffic.

If yes, would you kindly explain the basics? Or at least link to a useful post or thread on the topic?

Just want to explore all kinds of traffic building ways, not just search engine results!

Thanks everyone!

P.S: I know there's a thread on traffic building on this forum, but I would like to know more on article & content syndication.

Well, article marketing still is Search Engine Results dependent...

Honestly, there aren't any here that could tell you better than Alexa for syndication....so search the forum by her name and run with what she said.

There are tons of ways to get web traffic though and it all revolves around reaching out and building relationships. That means in your community, with other organizations in your niche, on authority sites, with the media, etc....start making connections now and they'll be there in the future. Others will tell you social media as well BUT that's only if you do things the right way....but you have to get your core followers from somewhere and that only happens if you go after that traffic.

There were quite a number of posts on this topic by successful article syndication marketers, but all were persistently drowned out by self-serving interests. This resource may now be more helpful than anything currently on the WF regarding best practices in article syndication: How To Get Your Column or Article Syndicated, by Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D., J.D.

I agree that a lot of this in the beginning has to do with cultivating mutually beneficial relationships.

There are a couple of places you could list your article for redistribution/republishing Online.

I run a company that does this actually called contentmutual.com

Through relationships I've developed, I can generate 1,000-3000 article views for free - if your article is in the Business/Entrepreneur/Technology niche.

Reach out to me if interested

I have a PDF that outlines how to do content syndication the right way.

I can't post a link here, but if you want a copy, PM me.
