Facebook has proven to be successful but I personally wouldn't sign up for a facebook copy. I'm already on facebook. You can't compete with facebook, they dominate their corner of the market. New social media platforms pop up all the time but they are different from the competitors in one way or another. Be different.

But if your really comitted to this you could run a campaign on kickstarter or gofundme and try to raise some capital to invest in your project.

for a facebook look a like social Network but i also what the same features as facebook and the same interface as facebook
        and then

im not going to compete with facebook
Pick one! I don't think you have any idea of what goes into Facebook behind the scenes or how much knowledge/money/work hours FB consumes every day.

Ideas are easy - when Fiverr was first popular, every day someone had an "idea for a Fiverr clone". Where are they now?

Instead of trying to copy someone else's idea - come up with a unique idea of your own.

You need to keep this in mind if you have your mind set to succeed.
It's great you have ideas, and please don't let anyone discourage you (heck, Facebook itself began as a silly idea!) but keep in mind you need to offer something new and unique for the users, otherwise they won't even look at you (they already have facebook..)

There are thousands of programmers working on Facebook 24/7 to handle all the bandwidth, updates and maintenance, so it's a little more complicated than downloading a clone and installing it on a domain. So if you're going the donation route, you'll likely need hundreds of thousands just to build your initial platform and investors will want to see a history of success with other ventures. So unfortunately, your idea is probably not going to happen.

Hey, I'm not trying to discourage you at all. If you want it bad enough, go for it and don't let anyone tell you any different. I was just letting you know that the "step by step" process that you mentioned was gigantic steps because you will need an angel investor and a team of programmers working for years. What you're proposing is very different from throwing up a WP skin and then dropping a little content in place...it is a massive undertaking.

And I'm only saying that because I am in the beginning stages of that exact same process for a social site I'd love to develop. Finding the right investors and the right team is beyond difficult and it starts with you selling someone who hears 50 similar pitches a week. Just be prepared for a rocky road...that's all I was saying.

How would you plan on getting people away to Facebook to your site? If you have an answer then great, if not, i'd recommend start either thinking about that or thinking about a new project

It sound really awesome if you can replicate facebook, but I would prefer different features, designs, and the targeted audience.. I wouldn't want little kids or elders to go on it lol in my opinion though

If you see facebook. It is a large capital and large data centers.

You need a few years to be successful, in which all people fail through it.
