Opening a foreign language website

Hello everyone,
It has been a long time since I've been on the warrior forum. I would like to share with everyone that physical products have a lot more potential than digital products, and that is how I got out of being a broke newbie.

Anyway, I have been doing quite well in a particular niche, and mostly I have been targeting a particular demographic and getting sales. Recently, I came to know that there's potential for the same product in the Middle-East. I have had just one customer from that region so far, and she has bought and came back for more. Anyway, I want to start an Arabic website. The problem is I know very limited Arabic. I want to hire translators, and web developers who are native Arabic speakers, but the problem is I don't have any way of checking the quality of their work.

Like I said, I don't know Arabic, so even if I ask a translator to translate content into Arabic, I don't know how to evaluate it. I'll have to hire a separate guy for doing the evaluation.

These kinds of worries and not knowing their culture too well is scaring me from taking it forward. I want to know if any of you have ever ran a website in a language you don't know? Did it work? If anyone could give me some tips and pointers regarding things that should be top priority, it would really help.

Thanks

Well, you mentioned here, that your are not able to check the Translator quality. In this case you can see the feedback of the freelancer, who is going to be hired by you to translate your content. If the freelancer has good feedback, you can trust him, without any hesitation. Beore hiring, you must see the previous feedback & work history & work report. Thanks.

You are right, you have to hire translators and also evaluator because nothing makes a business look more unreliable than incomprehensible content, ridden with inaccuracies.

There are dozens of arabic speaking countries with different culture and traditions. So you need to focus on country too.

    My opinion:
Why not collaborate with someone from the country you are interested in ? He takes care of language and culture and you other aspects

There are a few good translators offering their services on fiverr:

Just check their feedback, see what others are saying about their work and contact them.
