Best Way To Do Continuity

I sell an ebook via Clickbank. I have a Membership site that operates with Paypal. I want to make it so that when people buy the ebook they get a 30 day trial then put into continuity.
I don't understand the best way to do things to make this happen. My technician said to me:
"I can't see any easy way to do this because there is no way to get around the fact that the buyer is purchasing through clickbank so to start on the paypal continuity plan they must also make a purchase through paypal." He says that my best solution is to offer an upsell to my book where I give them a 30 day trial of my site. They then go to paypal to set up that trial for $1. But then won't I lose many customers???
I have also read that paypal is easiest for recurring membership payments (Clickbank is manual apparently for paying out affiliates). I just want the best, easiest no nonsense way to do it to make the money... Show me the money Yeah!
Someone please tell me how the gurus do it???????????

I'm just thinking, perhaps I can change my membership site to paying with Clickbank instead of paypal. And then I will just learn how to handle the manual paymnets for affiliates. Is that just a couple of hours work for a technician to do that kind of stuff?

Clickbank handles the payments, not you.

Perhaps you want to consider the following approach (this is not the only option):

    1. Sell through Clickbank completely (don't mix with Paypal)

    2. Sell your ebook as part of your continuity. What I mean is:
    - price your ebook as $xx (but make this a recurrent product in Clickbank)
    - billed your customers $yy after 30 days thereafter for each 30 days
    - position your ebook allow them to have a free 30 day trial to which they can CANCEL anytime
    - you can set xx, yy and zz accordingly

    3. Clickbank will handle the payment to your affiliates.

Two downside I can think of are:
    - if your customer accidentally asked for a REFUND instead of a CANCEL during the first 60 days, they will get both $xx and $yy back.

    - once you fix your xx, yy and zz in Clickbank, you can't change them (you can delete them though). If you want to change the price, you need to create a new recurrent product. Not a big issue (to me).
