Any Tips on How To Improve My Site?

Is this strictly a review site for beard trimming products?

Or is it a Community of sorts for guys who are passionate about having beards and like to talk about it,and create bonds with others,get and give advice etc..etc..

You need to really identify this. Because your Optin is kind of ambiguous about this. Join our Community ?????

It is not really a good 'magnet.'
You should say something that gets people to want to sign up. And give out their email address.This does not do that.

Like...'Join our VIP List where as a Member you will get EXCLUSIVE special Discounts on selected products that will give you that Beard you always dreamed about '

Not a bad looking site. I like the background picture you see first. I agree with the post above that the magnest of "joining the community" is not much of a draw. I am not sure what would be better but I would think on that a bit.

For a community page it seems rather ad / review centric. Perhaps some other content such as The History of Beards, or great men in history who had beards, etc. Also for the building of a community perhaps having people post there own "cool beard pictures". Just a few ideas. Best of luck to you.

As said twice above, joining a community doesn't entice people to give up their email, i wouldn't especially when i only see reviews on beard trimmers, where's the community aspect in that?

Show your passion. The domain is my man beard and you don't talk about yourself. That personal touch and that hint of passion will bring you visitors. And it will create your community.

Another tip -- I'm sure you can't always talk about your own beard. Go to CL and ask for personal stories there. Compensation is preferred but there are PLENTY of people who will support your site and provide articles/stories for free as long as you provide them with credit.

Build it up and you'll be good.

The bounce rate for this site is probably over 50%. You need better line spacing and reader-friendly font sizes and font choices. Also, you need more pictures.

Have you ever stopped to consider that your problem above ^^^^^ could be fixed by this . . .

What is your niche? And why did you say you are bad at link building?
Any link building strategies you've done already??
In order to make money from it there is no other way than to promote it.
But first you must have to optimize it on page, analyze your competitor and your target market so you'll have a direction on where do you want to be.

I would like to suggest you that firstly you should make your site attractive so that it can attractive more online visitors towards it and secondly you have to make your site fully informative. Both these points are very crucial in order to drive more customers towards your business.

Next important thing is that you have to use high quality content in your website to give all the information about your business in short. Even by connecting with social media sites you can get the huge people's presence on your site within an instant. This is what you should do for getting huge profit for your business.

The guys above gave you some great advice on how to 'implement' changes in your Ad Copy, Lead Magnet and the like. Make sure that you actually make these changes first (and get them out of the way) then get on to some 'traffic' generation strategies.

I would look into FREE Marketing methods like posting your content where your 'target' market hangs out. I don't have a clue where 'beard' guys hang out other than Youtube. However, the one's that hangout there are already selling similar products.

You can study them since you are in the same niche.

In the end, without real 'consistent' traffic coming in daily, you won't get enough statistics on how to improve 'conversions'.

Great but from the look of your site , you can change it to post type homepage. You're brand name are not that limited to content and you can scale up to 100 article . Still , you can add more if you're really passionate about that niche.

By the way , I've been a long time reader of nichepursuit and spencer ( owner of the site ) coaching a student. Which you have more likely the same niche . But his site are more about safety razors/electric shavers . Try to look up on this site : apennyshaved.com this the case study that they've made .

I just saw your site. I think your site is awesome. It is working fine. What I suggest is for you to increase user interaction. For example, you would give huge discounts for those who will join your community for the next 30 days... Give them offers such as sales of the month or deals for the month. Set up a community forum for members and give them electronic points which they can use as credits in their future purchases.

A while back, there was a post on BHW that detailed how to make successful Amazon affiliate niche sites (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to it or not). It used a beard trimmer site as an example, very similar to the way you have yours set up. I'm guessing a lot of newer marketers did the same thing, without picking a new category.

The niche itself is very saturated and you really need to be able to get on the first page of Google to be successful with Amazon sites, unless you're able to find another stream of steady traffic. Honestly, with this particular niche, you're going to need some heavy SEO done on your site if you want good results.

Otherwise, I'd expect it to take a long time to start ranking. If you can't afford to do SEO, I'd post at least one article on your blog every week that was highly optimized and hope for traffic to start coming that way.

P.S. - You need to make your images link to Amazon as well, and I'd be sure to optimize the titles i.e. "best-mens-shaver-2015" etc. Right now, if I click one of your images, it takes me to a static page of the image itself rather than Amazon. Big no-no.

The site looks great except for the huge header pic at the top of the page. Get rid of it and replace with text/graphic that communicates what your blog is all about - and what each visitor will get by visiting your blog.

Why should someone "join your community"? Clarify. What will each subscriber get from giving your their email address?

Sounds like you're all about the quick buck. I don't see much content till the end of the page. The site is good, but with some simple changes it can be better.

Instead of encouraging to joining the community if you could just run a picture competition for people with beards and give away the best trimmer to the winner & runnerups you will get the email, attention, repeat visitors, interaction, buzz.

The website design is good and clean. just consider the above suggestion.
