Hi Warriors

As you know I dont post often - I really value this forum but prefer to read and only chip in when I think I have something valuable to add. As I am still learning the ropes - thats not often!!!

Today I am really pxxed off! I received a PM from someone today who offered me a list of ebooks - some existing WSOs - in exchange for a copy of Sean Donohues excellent video product. The list of products I could have was really long - a lot had what appeared to be a DP link at the end.

I have no idea why I was targetted with this offer BUT for the record, in my opinion this is tantamount to stealing and I never want to receive another PM like this again.

If anyone does pm me with a similar offer, I will not reply but will simply forward it to the mods. I would hope that anyone else who gets a similar PM will do the same.

Otherwise our fantastic forum will disappear.

Now I need to go have a cup of tea and let me Irish temper cool off:rolleyes:

    I agree Rach,

    That is tantamount to stealing... if they want the WSO
    then they should just buy it.

    And I'm sure Sean will appreciate your stance as well

    I'd report that to the helpdesk. I doubt if the people that engage in that practice actually read the forum. It's unlikely you're the only one they targeted.

            You're going to be sorry you asked that. Seems like every time John's kilt pictures get posted, there's always a Kevin mankini pic posted alongside it. Yikes.

              I used to have so much anger and hatred for people who did this.

              Now, I only feel sorry for them because they're losers and will never amount
              to anything.

              Their lives will be meaningless and empty, they'll never have any wealth,
              either in monetary terms or in their soul, and most likely they will die bitter
              and resentful of everybody else.

              That in itself should be punishment enough for them.

              But I agree, report the SOB and have him nuked.

                Yes, I believe he/she has been banned. And I know I shouldnt have wasted any emotion on them but I just got pxxed off that they thought I might be interested in their "offer".

                If they ever release a product lets see how they feel when someone distributes it freely to anyone and everyone.

                I am just hoping that everyone will report these types of pms or else we will end up being like DP and other forums.

          This is a case of scamming.

          In such case, the scammer is buying only 1 WSO and exchanging it with other publishers.This is wrong.

          You need to inform administrator about it.

            Thanks everyone - sorry about not replying - was travelling with three kids and no internet connection:rolleyes:

            I have reported it. It wasnt a mistake in that the same pm was sent to three other warriors excluding myself. The scammer didnt bother to use BCC!

            The worrying thing is that their list of books I could have went over the 20 mark so they obviously do this a lot!

            Oh well best get back to the kids!

    Hey Rach,

    It's rarely mentioned, but there are a few scammers lurking around. What you experienced is only one take on the problem. There are also those who will request that you provide them with a review copy of your WSO and they will provide a copy of their WSO.

    You send a link to your WSO and you never hear from them again!

    Not to worry -- these few rotten apples will not make the Warrior Forum go away. Too many good people in the ranks.

    Good going, Rachel, for reporting it to the mods. Not only are there are a few thieves who pass along other people's material, there are also thieves who happily accept it!

    As for bonuses...

    I would have thrown in one "fortune" as a bonus. I hear if you look at the top of Mr. Cueball's head you can see your future. And if you ask a question and then shake his head, you'll get an answer ("yes"... "no" ..."try again later"...).

    Hi Rachel,

    I agree with the other WF members here, things like this should be reported. We don't need this stuff here. Exchanging other e-books is just the same as stealing & if you ask me, anyone that PMs such offers should be banned immediately.

    Quite frankly, I don't understand these people. A lot of WSOs are being sold for very cheap prices, so if they really want a particular WSO that badly... why don't they just buy the damn thing?? Especially after seeing that most WSOs come with a Full Refund Guarantee...
