Working funky keywords into articles/sites

In doing keyword research I often come up against low competition phrases with pretty good search volume, but the word combination might be very hard to work into an intelligible sentence. How do you get over that? Can you insert "a" "or" "an" "the" etc between words without ruining the strategy of the keyword/phrase being a search magnet to your article or site?

Google for "google stop words". There is a nice list out there. MOST of those are actually indeed being ignored.

You can also double check very simple:

You enter your desired keyword (which you want to rank for) into google and check what's coming up. Then you enter the same phrase, but with those "stop words". Still the same results coming up? Then you can be sure that those stop words are actually being ignored.
