The best payout for hosting affiliates?

Could look at Bluehost, they pay 60 dollars and have been around a long time.

I-page pays $150 per sale. But they have a few requirements. The pay is good so I guess it worth checking

InMotion pays out $50 for 1-2 commissions and $100 for every one after that. A lot better than HostGator is offering.

Bluehost though, you have to have at least $100 threshold and they have to be a member for 90 days?

I'm going to talk to a few different ones now.

So far the "Ipage" hosting is the cheapest and highest paid. The offer $2.50 hosting/month, which is charged up front. 1 year is $30, 2 years, $54.

Iv read good reviews on them, but what's up with their cheap hosting costs? Someone said don't fall for their low cost jokes.

ipage, bluehost, hostgator are all eig brands. they are basically the same service now. the reason many here are seeing lower affiliate commissions is because eig only pays affiliates for "new customers". so when a customer moves from bluehost to hostgator via an affiliate link, the affiliate is not getting credit because they haven't brought eig a new customer...even though they were new to hostgator.

for some of my normal traffic sites i have an account at hostrocket and they have been solid for me for over a year now. they have a high paying affiliate program....although they look like a prime candidate for an eig takeover at some point...lol

The cheap hosts are usually good at being cheap.

You'll end up running out of resources, either bandwidth or storage space, and have to upgrade fairly quickly.

Just starting out though it's probably safe. Never tried iPage so I can't say for sure, but other cheap hosting accounts have gone the same way.

They get you into the cheaper account, which is usually sufficient to get you going, but once you start getting traffic you'll need to upgrade fairly quickly.

Check the reviews for them. As long as you don't read crap like poor uptime, poor customer service, or bad network latency then it should be a good deal.

i do have some sites at hostrocket, although i use it mostly for a development server before i move higher traffic sites to other hosts...usually knownhost. cheapish chared hosting is what it is. its not for high traffic sites....i dont care what the name of the company selling the shared hosting is.

you need to get with them on when you will get payouts. there are all sorts of risk factors that go into how fast these companies payout.

btw, as far as the eig and new customers situation. most of the low lvl support folks deny it. but as some of you know, i have a lot of connections at HG. i have also run some tests and from everything i can see it is the case. when i challenged them on some payouts they basically said i was mistaken. but the test clients were all from different connections, names, cc info.....part of a group of people i was coaching. i would accept a couple, but in my test the eig crossover affect was nearly 100%.

Ok here is a list from highest to lowest
1. IPAGE ($105) This is such a good deal! You receive $105 per sale w hen the hosting itself is only $2 per month, and can be cut down to $1 with coupons. It also offers lots of great free products such as a free domain, free advertising (worth $150 all together), and other great freebies. It certainly is one of the best web hosting affiliate programs. One thing to note is that there are some bad reviews of iPage around the web and there are some complaints about its quality.
2. FATCOW ($100)Fatcow is another high payout web hosting company. It has a slightly better reputation and quality then iPage, though it is more expensive and offers slightly lower payouts.
3.BLUEHOST ($65)Even though the payouts are lower, Bluehost has a better reputation and people are more likely to buy it. It also has a better quality and better servers, and the website is more visually appealing.
4. HOSTGATOR($50-125)

Who doesn’t want an extra $2625 per month? Hostgator’s affiliate program can be pretty lucrative.
Wow – why $50-125? Because the more sales you make, the more money you get paid per sale. At $125, that’s more than all the other affiliate programs, and if you have many sites or great methods to achieve 21 sales per month, you could $2625 that month!
5.HOSTMONSTER ($65)Sister company of Bluehost.
Note: iPage, Fatcow, Bluehost, Hostmonster, and Hostgator are all owned by EIG (Endurance International Group), and they own many of the biggest web hosting companies in the world. EIG brands offer the best web hosting affiliate programs, though they have a history of not paying out some of their affiliates’ money. Use at your own risk! Other EIG brands include Justhost, IXwebhosting, Startlogic, and Domain.com.
6.DREAMHOST ($97)$97? Sweet! Dreamhost is our first non-EIG owned company in our list. One of my favorite parts about the Dreamhost affiliate program is that it allows you to create your own coupon code, which you can offer discounts and give away free domains/free IPs. The only drawback is that whatever discount and whatever free domains you give away, you lose some of your $97. For example, if I created a coupon code that gave you a $25 off and 1 free domain (valued $15), I would only receive $97 – $25 – $15 = $57 for that sale.
7.INMOTION HOSTING ($50-100 + $5-25 BONUS)As long as you make more than 3 sales per month, you will receive $100 per sale. The bonus is for completing extra requirements.
8. SITEGROUND ($50-125)As one of the highest quality web hosting companies out there, Siteground deserves a place in the best web hosting affiliate programs list. It’s payout structure is same as that of Hostgator, for some reason.
9.WEBHOSTINGPAD ($75)Mediocre hosting companies, OK payouts. One thing to note, prices are extremely low and visitors will have a higher chance of buying.

You will need to choose the one that is best for you.

My mentor got paid $130 for each referral to Host9. I think it was a deal he worked out because of the amount and quality of traffic he sent to them.

He's got a landing page that does $70k a month in profit promoting only Host9, ThemeForest, and 1 other product.

Something to think about, even though you're starting with $50 per sale.

I checked out FatCow's affiliate program, they offer $100 per commission for every person who signs up for their shared plane. I viewed their share plan and its only $49 for the year. That's the cheapest Iv seen with a higher payout.

They also have a plan for $9/year that doesn't come with all the features as the other plans and you get $25 commission for it.

Fatcow pays out between 30-45 days including the reviewing/approval process and there is no minimum amount of commissions that you need. You can have one and be paid.

The Inmotion was $80/year for their plan and you need a least 3 commissions to reach $100/ per sign up.

So I think FatCow is the best deal... What do you think?

It has been said before in earlier posts but maybe you did not catch it. FatCow is part of the EIG conglomerate. You say that you want to promote something reliable. I would never promote any one of the EIG owned sites and I am not alone.

Oh ok I get it now. So DreamHost is NON EIG. They offer nice commissions too. $97 for every plan signed up annually and $30 for the month to months.

I think we found our winner. I'm going to give them a shot. They pay out at the end of every month too.

I'm not sure about low cost hosting, because especially if you use WordPress as a cms, it's being found that low cost hosting is not entirely secure and sites are being hacked

Bluehost is a good choice for affiliates working in Web Hosting niche. One of the top earning blogger is an affiliate of Bluehost.

So you're saying to stick with Host Gator and just keep referring people there? I would even switch over hosting to somebody else if I know of a legit company. Host Gator was always good because of the live chat feature and affiliate support system has always responded in a quick matter of time.

But people have been telling me to stay away because of an EIG?

See I like InMotion too. The sales system is fast and its pretty affordable. The only bad thing is, they don't offer month-to-month hosting. You have to purchase at least a years worth which is $107. Some of my clients may turn away if they have to pay $107 right away. And they can actually get a promo from inmotion for $60/year but then I won't get any commission from it because it has to be a minimum of $74.
