i use different UPS boxes for most of my onlnie businesses. they have always worked fine for merchant accounts and such.

that might not work for you, but you might try a service like
    https://travelingmailbox.com/.

they provide you a physical address and you can have them forward mail or scan and send it to you via pdf.

i also use them for some stuff.

there are other companies like them out there too. Something like that is probably the first angle i would try.

You do realize that this is a MARKETING forum and not a LEGAL forum. You are asking for and receiving legal advice from unqualified people.

A bar of iron cost $5. Made into horseshoes, it's worth $12. Made into needles, it's worth $3500. Made into balance springs for watches, it's worth $300,000. Your value is determined by what you are able to make of yourself

do you realize how many unqualified marketers and "business people" give their unqualified marketing advice here daily? many many times more than people giving educated ideas regarding something that is really not even a legal question.

and whats worse is that all the pretender marketers actually act like they know the secret money making methods to give them credibility.

where in the world did this idea that smart folks cant have an idea about things that relate to legal issues anyway? who the hell started that crap.

asking for opinions and receiving them is fine. now if you act on the advice of someone who is not qualified, thats on you....whether its crappy legal advice or crappy marketing advice is irrelevant dont you think?

the only way its not is if the person giving advice implies they have qualification regarding a topic they dont have...ie pretending to be a lawyer....or how about pretending to be a successful marketer...lol

I agree 100%, but, If I give poor advice, or receive poor advice regarding marketing, for the most part it is "Shame on me or Shame on you"

But, even though this is a question about an address, it still has some legal ramifications. That is why, even for U.S. Citizens when we want to incorporate in a business friendly state like Delaware, Montana, or Nevada, we still go through lawyers, or we should. Especially when it comes to setting up an address.

do you realize how much marketing advice also has legal ramifications? most of it in fact.

or how about how many of this forums members are actively violatinog ftc regulations with the sites they link to in their sigs...much less the whole wso section.

how about email marketing, do you realize the rules are all over the map worldwide? canada is one of the tightest around. or how about the use of cookies by sites like jvzoo or warriorplus.... you do realize they way its happening now is illegal according to the EU.

so if you want to stop all advice that MIGHT be harmful to the person asking the question this place mind as well shutdown.

there are very very few pro level marketers here that i would even remotely trust to give a real business marketing advice.

fyi: the op indicating in his op that his llc was in Nevada...probably the best place to setup an llc for most businesses really.... in my opinion of course.

I would not characterize this as a legal question.

The OP needed a US address to attach to an already legally established US business.

At worst, there may be policy questions between him and his desired merchant provider over how this will work. But I wouldn't overreact to this. He asked a good question and got some solid advice.

To make sure it is all legal is still the OP's responsibility. Nothing written in this post changes that.

no, with the travelingmailbox thing, you get a real physical mailing address. i looks just like any other normal physical address in the USA

merchant accounts rarely if ever actually require you to have a store front retail location. especially not for an online merchant account.

        Hi,
Thanks for sending that over! We will also need to see an official document that confirms the US business address you provided on our application. We will need to see your business name and US address on this document.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
        Thanks,

well, then you are just going to have to get some bill or something sent to the new address with your business name on it. maybe a prepaid type credit card? maybe order something from vista print or something?

you are just going to have to get creative about how you can get something sent to the new USA address that is addressed to your business. but the fact that its "virtual" doesnt really change anything. i have lots (too many) real bills mailed to these sort of address.

i guess the first thing is to ask what they consider "an official document"

In my earlier reply I used the word "virtual" but maybe that confused you. Companies like the link I provided will set you up with a real physical U.S. address.

Side note: I did not give any legal advice or any advice at all for that matter. I just answered his question about a way to get a physical U.S. address.
