Does anyone know why my Adsense balance would be Zero, but I'm still earning?

I've had adsense on my sites for years, but this is the first time that my 'current balance' has stayed at zero since my last payment April 23rd. I've earned plenty since then as my 28 day total keeps going up. So, why would the Current Balance be zero?

I have searched Google, but can't find the answer to this specific question. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm no AdSense expert by any means, but I am guessing that it's simply money that's waiting to be validated before it shows as your actual cash. It usually updates on the 1st and gets paid out shortly thereafter, so check again tomorrow.

    Thanks for your reply, kk075!

As it turns out, I was just being impatient. Today I have a very healthy balance again. But this really is the first time I have had to wait 9 or 10 days for a new balance to show!

I thought Google was messing with me, and I hear too often of Google 'taking' other people's profits and I thought they might be up to something, but I guess I was just being a little too impatient and maybe even paranoid!

You were right. Thank you. I appreciate your input.

      Hello,

Same thing happened to me. For the First Time after using it for months, my current balance changed to zero on the 26th sept and when i went to payments and my payable earning read $0.00. Hopefully after reading your reply and another reply at another forum,

It seems as though the current balance gets zero'd out before the end of the month. Hopefully It should show by the 3rd of Oct

There are 2 types of earning on Adsense,

Finalized Earning ( approved) and non finalized (what shows in your dashboard) After the months Google will check each valid clicks and see if they were legit or bots, If it showed 100$ Its possible that its only 10$ Hope this helps.

I am sure that you are earning very low and that is the only reason behind your concern. When you starts good traffic and earnings your problem will be solved automatically and you'll have adsense revenue update exactly when someone click on ads or I can update in every 10 minutes!

    Good Luck!
