    I personally don't think this is the best model, but if you can make money from it then why not try it

    I wouldn't think so. I know on Fiverr they do. But from what I gather FB is starting to catch on and crack down on this

    I don't believe in purchasing likes, followers etc. They are not real. It is good to make your own likes through your work.

    Such a business won't last long and your customers will demand a refund when their " likes, shares, views, followers and etc"disappear.

    I made some money with this business model but I gotta tell you before you dirty your hands. This market's really tough and there ain't much to squeeze out of it.

    As someone who has done social media consulting for five years now, I cringe every time a client brings up this strategy. It is only worthwhile if you need social proof. However, people see that no one cares about your network and then they get even more freaked out at what you are doing wrong.

    Having a business to help people with purchasing social followers is just not helpful.

    The FB Model

    Aside from all of the usual places where people are used to buying likes (examples: Fiverr and AddMeFast), there is a thriving trade in buying updates on FB. The FB TOS actually forbids it (you can promote but you can't sell 3rd-party advertising), but a rather large cottage industry has evolved for it, nonetheless. And here's how it works:

    1. Grow a large FB page. 50K+, usually.
    2. Advertise outside of FB. Forums, like this one, usually.
    3. Receive the update information from the buyer.
    4. Receive payment (paypal).
    5. Post the update.

    People who are good at growing FB pages are making a killing. Growing traffic and charging for it has always been good business. What attracts these people? Here:

    - Cut out the middle-man (cpa networks, for example);
    - Avoid scrubbing & shaving;
    - Instant payouts

    I personally would not use any model that breaks TOS, but for those interested, there is a way around it: You sell space on YOUR website. You then merely LINK to that web page and a listing ON that page.

    Growing FB pages is a snap. I'll give you a tip: learn viral marketing.

  • Only if you get genuine likes that will benefit the client. One way is by running a paif campaign to get fans for your client's fan page. Other way is by getting likes from a fan network you have control on, like large fan pages (+100k), large FB groups with lots of active members(+10k) and so on.

    Other than that, if you will be using likes-exchange sites or even worse, bots, then you won`t succeed.

    I've seen a lot of people selling likes and friends on Facebook on Fiverr. Some of these gigs are very successful, so I guess there is money there to be made.

    I did this when I first started (selling Likes, that is)...

    And made a few bucks here and there.

    Either way, there's always a need for stuff like this...

    So yes, there is money to be made doing so.
