Hi. newbie here, quick question:
Why does it seems that I only get pitched the "undergound, secrtet tacticts to make $$$ without any hard work or skill" ?

is there anyone that shows you what needs to be done or how without treating you like a complete idiot?

please recommend someone if you can
I'm more intrested in SEO & Video

would appreciate someone who will not take advantage of the fact that I gave my email & bombard me with links to product of the day BS

Thanks

I suggest you see who is giving good free information about SEO and video marketing in threads on this forum when you use the search function on this forum.

If they are ranking their website on the first page of google for their keyword in their domain name and they are ranking their videos #1 on the 1st page of google for their desired search terms, then you have a pretty good indication that, that forum member will be a good SEO mentor or coach to you.

War room members offer a lot of guides to other war room members without having to give out their email address.
There are some really good information in there, just do not overload yourself with it.

Once you gave up your email, you cannot avoid the pitching email. Because that's what marketers do. If you go the road of building email and affiliate marketing, you will do - if not must do - the same.

I recommend Affiloblueprint by Mark Ling -- really comprehensive and has lots of videos. I'm a video freak, too. I don't like reading -- unless it's like the only option. I think it's because I'm an big auditory learner, and when it comes to "hands on" tasks, I like to see stuff being done.

Interesting perspective. I refuse to buy any training course that consists of only video. I can't skim video, and only 10% of most training videos have meaningful content.

If there's no PDF, I'm not buying.

On Udemy you'll find some good free courses. Most courses are also at discount from time to time. So don't buy them for the full price.

Here's one thing to keep in mind: if you're attracting these offers, you're hanging in the wrong places I'd say, hang where the honest, authentic, true folks hang, the guys and gals who simply give away loads of valuable stuff for free, then, charge for some of that valuable stuff too.

Search for key phrases: video blog, and SEO blog, on Google. See what Page 1 yields. Blogs are usually a treasure chest of super helpful, free content that'll get you on the straight and narrow to success in whatever niche you choose because most blogs these days can't get to Page 1 without being tremendous resources.

Not big on video or SEO on my blog but if you want to meet a bunch of helpful, value-sharing bloggers, stop by my blog. Link in Sig File is where it's at. I write 6,000 word, resource style posts weekly, which attracts prospering helpful bloggers who dig to share value themselves. And yep, more than a few video and SEO guys in my audience.

Other than that, as noted above, Udemy offers solid courses. I'd say though that researching through blogs can help you get some real meat and potatoes, due diligence wise, without the fluff and hype stuff.

You can also check out Anthony Aires's Speed Ranking System. It is a detailed training on SEO for video, ranking etc. It's basically the combination of what you said you were interested in (seo and video)

    Hope this helps.

Pardon me for sounding cynical, but it's mostly a matter of "give the suckers what they want", or, more accurately, what they think they want.

If you told people "find a market you can serve, figure out what they want, then offer it to them at a fair price" all you would hear are crickets, and even they would sound bored.

But if you mention some "underground, secret tactic" people will latch onto the notion that there's some reason (besides their own inadequacies) that other people are making it and they aren't. Add in a dash of the "Internet Lifestyle" hooie, and you are ready to start shearing the sheep...

There is a lot of good stuff in the WSO Graveyard, I mean, War Room, but there's a lot more outdated , inaccurate and just plain crappy information.

Since you are into SEO, I'm sure you can find information in there on secret, underground tactics like spamming profile links and crap articles to thousands of "article directories" for backlinks, and other tricks that will get you delisted if you try them now.

What's the over/under on sellers of these tactics and the tools to do them coming on here to tell me I'm full of it and their stuff still works?

The "underground/secret tactics" with "no hard work", that anyone can do with their hands tied behind their backs while watching the Super Bowl is promoted simply because that's what the market wants.

YOU may want something with more meat on it... but the sellers are forced to broadcast their sales message on a channel that their market will tune in to. For IM products, the majority of that market are "newbies" looking for the "biz in a box" solutions.

As a seller, you have to give them what they want.

If your market is primarily newbie internet marketers who demonstrate over and over again that what they want is a magic bullet... that's what you're forced to give them.

Every time you are get pitched with "underground/secret tactics to make $$$ without any hard work or skill", you should avoid them at all costs. It is just a marketing trick for them to take your money.

However, for well-guarded formulas labeled as secrets in making money online, it can be worth it and you get what you pay for. You may want to look for offers that you pay for 1 and give you up to 10x the value of what you have paid for.

Because making money takes a lot of hard work and a massive action...

    Marketers know that people

    1. Don't want to work
    2. Looking for secret easy method that doesn't exist

So they sell the dream and keep you a consumer.

If you want to break free of this start looking at the marketers marketing to you daily and look at what they are doing and model that and become a producer.

Model them and produce the ways they are producing

Lol... you should learn from the people who sell you their products. They pitch you that stuff because of biology, and they know that alot of people will believe it - and buy it.... like YOU.

They know you're not an idiot, they're just doing what they have to do to make the sale. You're their ideal prospect.
