A Tool To Find Out Where Website's Traffic Is Coming From?

Could anyone recommend a tool to do that? To tell from where a specific website is getting it's traffic from - how much from SEO and which KW's, who are the biggest referrers and etc. ( similar to compete & simlarweb, but cheaper)?

Thanks.

^ I'm confused, you MUST know have heard about Google Analytics! Or about the Google Webmaster's Tools. These tools will tell you pretty much everything, where your traffic comes from, how many visitors you have, bounce rate, keywords people used to find you ecc. ecc.

I think he's specifically talking about a spying tool.

I agreed with Slade, if you are using these two tools (Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tool), you do not need to go anywhere else. You will get all detailed information about your website traffic. If you have any question regarding how to use the tools they provide the detailed help menu for any question, even you can ask here too. You will get many videos to learn how to use these tools.

Check out Follow.net - It's an extension for chrome that give you data from Quantcast, Compete, WhatRunsWhere, as well as keyword data from Google.

Thanks, it's a nice tool but I already have SEMRush and it doesn't add much to it. What I want to see is where a website is getting its' traffic from, that is something Similarweb does but for quite a high price.

The OP is looking to discover the traffic sources of websites owned by others. OP, look into SimilarWeb.com. This is quite a big subject, but that'll get you started.

I think "Alexa .com" allows you to do this. If you pay for their premium services they can show you this.

For some reason the product "SpyFu" is coming to my mind, but in the past i used to a software called "Web Ferret" to help me out in this area. But now i dont use any of them because i dont focus on my competition too much (if at all, really).

You may want to use alexa.com and semrush.com

They both work great and can give you the information you need.
