Good free photos?

Hiya

Does anybody know of any good free photo websites that I would be allowed to modify and put on my website. I am intending to add some mottos/quotes to a few images.

        Pixabay has been working out well for me lately. When you search for a topic or category, it gives you a row full of pics they want you to buy, but I just ignore those and use the creative commons pics that displayed after. Good high res sizes too.

    I've using Pixabay and searching within the Creative Commons photos on Flickr. Unsplash is another good source.

    Normally I don't use free photos, even though I know there is such thing as 'creative common' - dont know why, I just dont feel confortable using free photos.

    I always go to purchase royalty free and HQ photos (worry free, at least). My favorite place to go is 'Dollar Photo Club', always $1 each HQ photo.

    Most of the time, I search the file location on the search engine. If I found a good photo, which I was searching, I see about the Copyright. If the there is no copyright issue, then I use the photo. There are many images, where there is no copyright issue. so it is really easy to get many free images by the help of search engine. Thanks
