INTERNET MARKETING

I've just spent 20 minutes detailing how I tested a squeeze page and lost it as I pressed the submit button (sob)

I've lost the will to live

  Been there -- hate it whenever it happens!
  
  The good news is that the info is still there in your bio-hard drive (brain). If you just let yourself dump it back out (onto notepad or wordpad this time), it will surprise you how much you recall.

I have had this happen with blog posts. I go to publish and get an error. Sometimes I will copy my post before submitting.

Hey Kim,

Not that it does much good now but when I do that, I just press the back button and then do a copy and paste. It has worked just fine for me!

that worked in the old forum, but I've tried it in the new forum to no avail. It must have something to do with the editor.

It's worked for me before on this forum when after I've spent 15 seconds writing a sentence. I just hit the back button.

Use a software like pspad, notepad, open office writer, ms word etc to write your posts and if you are writing a long post in the forum editor select all and copy as you go that way you just have to ctrl-v to get it back.

Good idea to copy all the text before hitting the submit button as well.

  Happened to me often. Writing a long email, then disappeared when I clicked on the "send" button.
  
  In other instances, I was working for hours using Dreamweaver or MS Word. Forgot to Save every so often. When there was an error and it was not responding, I almost cried.

  I've been there soooooo many times with various systems.
  
  Now, as a matter of course, I simply do a quick [CTRL]A, [CTRL]C before hitting the submit button so I can paste it back in if I get an error.
  
  I do this with forums, help desks, contact forms etc, etc.
