TL;DR: What are some of the most stupidly simple ways to make money online? Just any money made would make me happy at this point. It'd be a start at least. Aside from NeoBux... lol I've been doing that for a while now and it's a one step forward one step back process it seems. I can make money and send it to my paypal, but then I lose out on money that should be re-invested into my rentals... if any of you know what I'm talking about.

..........
..........

I've "attempted" IM and Affiliate Marketing back in the fall when I found out about it. I was gung-ho for about a month, even joined "Wealthy Affiliate" to try and get started. All I did was waste money on a domain and a hosting service. I couldn't even finish working on my site. I realized. I possess no skills. No sales skills, pitch skills, writing skills, web design or graphic design etc.

No skills at all to offer anyone for money or even myself to help me make money. I'm just a loser with a dead end job googling endlessly for ways to make full time income or even side cash from working at home online. I quit searching the forums and shut down the idea of IM back in the fall. I keep getting emails from WF from time to time though, and it reminds me of the possibility of making money online.

I'M A COMPUTER GUY, I like the Internet, I like being on the computer, I'm a ******* hermit/introvert that likes to be by himself to recharge after a day of mental stress from work. Why can't I make money by being on the thing that I enjoy the most with my free time? I'm just mediocre at everything. I'm a gamer, I can't even be the best and compete for money at a game I enjoy playing, I just get outclassed all the time by so many other people that have so much time to invest. I'm a guitar player, my skills are decent, but they're not professional, shred level. I enjoy lifting weights, but I only look somewhat buffer after 2 YEARS... almost the same just skinnier with some muscle. I don't have a lot of knowledge in any one particular subject to be offering lessons or tutorials and to write articles about it.

I don't understand, sometimes I think about just ending it all.

So many people have these great ideas to do IM and make money from it and say it's easy, only to find out that I have to create videos and create this and that, and write articles and get 10 people to sign up and... blah blah blah. I'm not natural on video, I suck at writing, and if I try to promote products to get commission, it just looks spammy. What are some of the most easy ways to make passive income?

Start a YouTube channel that teaches people how to self-deprecate like a boss?

Or you could stop beating yourself up and take some action. IM isn't easy. There are no shortcuts. It's blood, sweat and tears and if you're not up for the task, it will make mince meat of your pretty little bones.

Stop telling yourself you suck at everything and DO something. Start a blog about something you're passionate about and just talk to people like a human being. Be relatable. You don't have to be an award-winning writer to connect with people.

But first you need to take the time to stop feeling so sorry for yourself, or you'll never get a damn place.

Wow, Jennifer you even scared me with that description. You sounded like my Drill instructor in the Military when I told him I wanted to try out for Special Forces.

Find a niche that you enjoy. Something you can market. There are so many different affiliate opportunities out there for example. You can find something to compliment a blog or site on almost any topic.

Okay if dude doesn't take this, I am running with it...
I'll surpass PewDiePie w/my Eeyore style YouTube vids!!!1!1!

iiXeno - I've lurked WF for a year, bought a few WSOs (of varying utility), but been at this much longer*.

My advice to you is buy a $10ish Warrior Special Offer that sounds like it is the most up your alley (e.g. Fiverr Gigs, List Building, Selling on Amazon, et al), study it like its the bar exam, and then implement it.
      • Execute it perfectly? Awesome! You are one step closer to lighting cigars w/$100 bills
      • Spent $9.97 on a WSO, and made no profits? Congrats, because I bet you learned a sh_t-ton, both in how-to's and results.

*Below is my total earnings in my adsense account, created in 2008.

They don't even pay out till you reach $100!! Why do I even bother????
Because I have learned so much. (need more posts, longer posts, better ad placement, less ads, higher traffic niche(s), etc.)
      • Try Hard
      • Now try even harder
      • Learn from your mistakes
      • Repeat your successes
      • Never stop trying

It is easy....once you take the time to learn what you're doing and you stop acting like an immature child who wants everything handed to them. That's steps one and two. Step three would be to learn how to respect others. If you don't want to work, than that's your right...but you don't ask for help by insulting others.

kk075, you said it perfectly. This isn't the place for a pity party. To succeed in IM or any brick and mortar business requires a set of skills. No one started a new job and was an expert day one. Fortune 500 companies say they do not earn a profit from a new hire until six months have past. My humble suggestion, find a mentor, (Mark J Worlds Laziest Networker, Dale Calvert to name a couple) and take a month or so to learn the basic skill they can teach you. Once you have an idea what to do and say to a prospect, find a product or service you can get excited about, do your due diligence, select and enroll, learn the back office and start employing the skills you've learned.

It's not rocket science, just a new skill set.

First of all, you need to work on your defeatist attitude. It's seriously depressing. Everyone that learns something new is going to start from the bottom. Everyone is going to make mistakes and progress at different intervals. It's not about whether you are going to run into obstacles but rather how you face them when they come up.

Successful people respond by figuring out what they are doing wrong and figure out how to fix it. Making money online takes work just like everything else. It's about learning, implementing (putting out some form of content for consumption), tweaking stuff, and repeating the process. The only reason so many people fail at it is because they quit before they see success.

Secondly, I have some good news for you. Wealthy Affiliate is a legitimate training program (been a member for years because of the affiliate program and other reasons as well), but if you don't like memberships, there are other options. Also, niche blogging (what you were doing before you quit and what it teaches) is a great way to go. Furthermore, it seems like you already an interests in some profitable niche markets (health/fitness, gaming, learn guitar...). Pick one and go with it.

Well before I quit... I was indeed going to create a website that referred people to affiliate links for the niche I was in, but creating the website was taking forever, I have to spend a lot of time on it, but I have other interests that I want to dedicate time to as well. So my lack of writing skills describing products and lack of understanding of Wordpress just made me say "**** it".

Also... my self defeat was brought on by how I was raised. Hard to gain and have confidence when it was destroyed early on in your youth by your own family.

I was looking around the forums and I seen something that interested me.

E-Commerce/Dropshipping or as I would call it.... flipping product. That seems like something that really interests me more than affiliate marketing. It seems to take less skill, you buy large quantity of product at a low price, they send to your house, you sell on Ebay for a profit... simple as that yeah?

You're doing nothing but making excuses for yourself, dude.

No one here is going to baby you. Asking for help is fine - there are plenty of people here willing to help. Lots of knowledgeable, awesome, talented folks who are willing to share hard-earned knowledge with people who are hungry to learn.

But when you come in here throwing a giant pity party for yourself and basically say "I want to make a lot of money, but I don't want to put in the work," you're slapping everyone who's willing to help you in the face.

        "I can't write."
"I'm not willing to learn how to use video software."
"Websites take too long to make."
"I'm not willing to watch a few simple Wordpress tutorials like every other person in here had to when they first started learning how to make websites."
        "Wahhh wahhh wahhh."

        Do you hear yourself?

Do you think we didn't all have to learn everything from scratch? That we stumbled on magic genie lamps in the desert and wished special skills into existence?

It's called Google. YouTube. Hard work. Ever heard of them?

These aren't hard skills to learn. They're incredibly simple if you commit yourself to watching a few YouTube tutorials every day.

But you don't want to. Know why? Because you don't want it bad enough. You're not hungry for it.

You just want an easy way out, just like every other person that comes in here starting threads like this and who quits as soon as they realize that this is real work and a real business.

Look, I'm the nicest person ever when it comes to people who genuinely want to learn and are willing to work hard. But the moment you come in here whining and asking to be coddled because you're downright lazy - not a chance.

If you don't want to learn or put in the work, then you're right. You should quit. Otherwise, buck up and put in the time like we all did.

I was born with a birth defect known as Cerebral Palsy and grew up with people thinking I was "severely intellectually-stunted" (not a fan of using the word retarded) due to the fact that I had a physical impairment and other things that I won't even go into. Even with all the crap I've had to deal with in my life (and will go through until the day I die), I still believe that my life, generally speaking, is under my control.

It's all about your mentality. Does life suck sometimes? Hell yeah. Is complaining about it going to change anything? No. I don't mean to sound harash. I'm just a really rational person. You (and only you) have the ability to make small changes in your life, so that you can lead the happiest life possible. Get to it. :-)

Since you have shared it here and if it helps the OP, this would be the 2nd time I will be disclosing my physical problem on warrior forum.

I have peripheral neuropathy which was caused by a car accident I had 8 years ago. Sometimes I don't feel the movement of my right leg, sometimes I do. This makes my walking style a bit different and I walk slowly.

Anyways, the outcome was that I had to leave my full-time job and sit home doing nothing. Thank god for internet, I have survived emotionally. Blessed to have a husband who loves me to death and backed me up when I used to see the nasty '0' in my sales records.

Now, my handsome husband and my dearest child love spending my hard earned money and make sure I am broke every single month

          On a final note:

          1) Start applying what you have learned so far;
          2) Make things easier for you to apply them (learn about plugins, use themes with visual builder, manage your social media accounts through a defined system etc.)
          3) Go through your competition sites and note every process how they are leading you through their funnel.
          4) And yes, learn about sales funnel first.

Hope my life experience helps you in any way.

Now, I'm going back to work

Dude, I give you a lot of RESPECT for even ATTEMPTING this in the first place. Do you have any idea about how many people never even TRY because they're afraid or lazy? The fact that you've put so much effort into this proves to me that you WILL succeed. I don't know when it will happen, but I promise that if you consistently push forward, eventually you'll reach your goal.

I know it sounds cliche, but remember this: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FAILURE, ONLY FEEDBACK. Every time you fail, you've simply learned one more way NOT to do things. Pretty neat, right? I like to picture it like this: the more you fail, the closer you are to reaching your goals, plain and simple.

I'd recommend not over analyzing your progress so much and instead spend your free time exercising and doing other things BESIDES internet marketing. You'd be surprised by how much it clears up your mind!

Anyway, good luck, and private message me with any questions or concerns your have.

You can make money online through making blogs. You can also try to download interesting videos on youtube like great travel spot, facts, educational tips, funny pranks, etc. Anything that can make you sensational at the same time interesting to the taste of the people. Then you can make video marketing out of it.

I agree with this, a job and a career sounds like your best bet. You don't have the mind-set for entrepreneurship.

Your attitude stinks a but, no offence. I know its hard growing up with your family beating you down, I also did.. but there comes a point in life where you move on. You can prove to yourself and everyone else that your not a loser.

I'll give you once simple piece of advice:

If you want something bad enough you will eventually succeed.

the reason why I got into university was not because I had the grades, I didn't have any grades.. Its because I wanted it enough to work, create a portfolio of work, get an interview and get a place.

The reason why I have a job at 24 with a better pay than any of my family or university colleges is because I wanted it enough to spend 37 hours a week applying for jobs, two weeks after graduating I got one.. then wasn't satisfied so while working 42 hours a week I spent 15 hours a week applying for better jobs, 4 months later I was satisfied with the job I got. Less hours and more pay.

The reason why I have a successful start-up in beta right now, gaining 100 followers a day on twitter and signups every 10 minuets is because I wanted it enough to work from the time I get home from work till the time I go to bed on my start-up.

You can see the pattern. I wanted - I worked towards - I succeeded.

The only things I haven't succeeded at are the things I didn't want enough.
For some people their want is money, for me its to help people, make a change and to enjoy what I do.

Its time to stop making an excuse and start to do something. The only person stopping you, is you.

Keep living the dream and pay somebody to do all this stuff for you or go back to school. Think that would be easier than trying to make it online sometimes, and either way you are going to have to work hard for a couple years before you ever get to relax. It sounds like you already know what you need to do but you need to start taking action. Hire a web designer to make you a good looking site, hire some writers to make your articles, you can even get videos made for you at http://www.fiverr.com/ . You need to start helping yourself and invest in your future, if you ever want to make it happen online though

IM takes a lot of patience, hard work and dedication man, A lot of people (Including myself when I first started) think making money online is easy. Unfortunately it's not! If it were easy everyone would be doing it. The process of making money online is simple, but simple and "easy" are very different.

What I mean by simple is that the steps are right in front of you, all over this forum (If you use the search feature in the top right corner you can find GREAT threads with great helpful post's). Implementing the steps, however is the hard part. That is the part where a lot of people realize its very hard work and they just give up.

My advice would be, Find a Method, Stick to that Method until you see some profit out of it. Once you see profit, don't stop! Keep scaling that method until you double your profit. Most jump from Method to Method (Also guilty of this when I first started).. Don't do this! Find a proven method and stick to it, don't give up and you can turn that into steady income. You must first work for it though and it does take a while and CANNOT be done overnight.

    Good luck to you,

    Wesley

    Hello,

Lighten up. Take it easy... Stay cool.

There will always be something for everyone depending on what you really want.

There are stupidly simple ways actually to make money online but they may pay a little less than when you actually perform bigger accomplishments that will give higher profits.

Anything can be achieved though. Start from where you are and decide to improve as you make your first income online.

Since you are not ready to for the hassles of making a living from the internet, you may start with "get paid to" programs like:

    1. get paid to read emails
    2. get paid to take surveys online
    3. get paid to try name brand products
    4. get paid to play games etc.

There are companies that actually pay you to do just that.

However, stay away with sites that requires you to pay something before you join like "get paid to take surveys but you need to pay first" because most of the time these are scams.

What you need to look for are the sites that let you do these with FREE registration.

      iiXeno,

Not everyone is cut out for business ownership. Anyone can be successful online, but most people don't have the interest, temperament, or stick-with-it attitude that it takes to become profitable.

You could learn everything you need to know and do a total about-face if you can apply yourself, change your mindset, and get after it. However, from your posts I wouldn't bet on it. You sound too depressed and too far gone.

I hope you prove me wrong.

If you decide to give online business another try, I would suggest you do some soul searching to come up with something that you could really enjoy doing on a full time basis.

Google that "thing" (whatever it is) and spend some time online visiting all the top sites in that niche. See what they are offering. Go to the online forums in that niche and see what the discussions are about. Are there common questions or pleas for help that you notice over and over again?

Look for "gaps" or holes in the niche - things that aren't covered sufficiently or that aren't covered with quality products.

Could you fill a gap? Provide a solution for a need? Satisfy a desire? Don't worry that you can't speak well or write well - there are ways around those things. All you need is an idea. Start up some conversations about the idea and see if others seem to get enthused about it.

All you need is one idea that others show some interest in.

Do this much . . . then come back to the forum and we'll help you to develop your idea further.

I don't think you are cut out to be an Entrepreneur. You need to work on yourself first. There is a lot of 'mental' issues right now...how you are viewing this industry and especially yourself.

You'll never get any results no matter what you 'try' unless you start working on that mindset issue (that you have).

If you don't, you will keep sabotaging your success (no matter how hungry you may be).

I used to wonder why this forum was called the "Warrior" forum until I had been here awhile and read several threads like this one, and then compared myself and others to the people who started those threads.

When you say you tried or attempted this and that....well, what you really did was just "dabble" with a few things. You're a dabbler and you want things super, super, kindergarten simple or you don't want to do it.

I mean, Neobux? Come on. Is that really all you can do or is it you are just too damn lazy to learn how to do anything but click your mouse and expend the least amount of energy possible? lol

You probably do suck at everything you say you suck at, but it's your own fault for it being that way, and it's your own fault for it staying that way. None of us started out proficient at all of this. It took time, work, focus, persistence - propelled by the desire to succeed no matter what.

None of us can help someone like you, except to tell you, "Sink or swim".

NeoBux is truly as close to passive income as possible.

Also, I think my passion for things just dwindle quick. I'll be super excited about it for a little while and then I just get bored of it or if it gets too hard I do quit, but it depends on the challenge. Physically challenging things are easier for me to stick with than mentally challenging things like "LEARNING". I think this stems from the days all the way back to elementary, I was D and E student, lazy, family didn't care what grades I had, whether or not I was failing, no support system, and then in middle school even then I was only about a C student only because I knew I had to try just hard enough to pass classes.

Also to answer the "just start blogging" ideas. Again, my writing my skills are not good. I can't write long enough articles or blogs for them to even be worth a website dedicated to them. Whenever I had to a 5 page essay or a 10 page essay, I'd always be a 3 page essay or a 6 or 7 page essay. I just don't have a lot to say. I'm a simple guy that wants simple things.

That's not to say there isn't big money to be made in video games. The video game niche is huge and extremely lucrative, to boot.

If the OP wanted to, he could probably make some great money with the video game niche. Gaming sites and gaming YouTube channels both do very well in the online world if you know how to talk to people and provide value or entertainment.

I don't think he has the drive and determination to follow through with something like that, though. Building up an audience and working hard to promote your site or channel is extremely time-consuming and requires unwavering dedication.

That's a mighty bold assumption on your part, not to mention incredibly pretentious. I guarantee you that the majority of people on this forum have had rough lives, myself included. Welcome to life.

You're still continuing to make excuses for yourself, which isn't helping you any.

You did not ask for a simple way to make money. There is no "simple way." You straight up said that making websites was too hard, you didn't want to make videos or put in much work of any kind. Re-read your own thread.

IM requires learning new skills and stepping outside your comfort zone. There is no easy button, so stop looking for it and stop trying to take the lazy way out, because it doesn't exist.

There is a way to make passive income by setting up websites and optimizing them or learning how to SEO YouTube videos so that they eventually make passive income, but that takes hard work to get them to that point. Hard work that you sound like you're not willing to put in.

        .
This is the exact definition of a "pity party."

Many, many people have been dealt bad hands - not just in childhood but in the present. A lot of people were abused when they were children, had dysfunctional families, and lacked confidence growing up.

A lot of us, today, face health issues, financial problems, marital issues, problems with our children, our dogs get sick and die, the car breaks down, etc.

        It's all part of life.

If you look at many of the most successful people in the world, and I would say this forum, the great majority of people overcame obstacles and problems to get to where they are.

Yeah some people inherit the wealth but more and more billionaires are self made. There Are More Self-Made Billionaires In The Forbes 400 Than Ever Before - Forbes It's interesting, from that article, that 8.5% of the richest people in the world came from absolute zero including significant abuse/disadvantage/health issues, etc. They are literally self-made men and women.

Those kinds of people don't have pity parties - they refuse to attend. So what if you had a bad upbringing, now is now. What are you going to do today?

This reminds me of a thing I saw on the stall wall in a bathroom long time ago: "Daddy beat me so now I write bad checks." They ARE NOT related except for mindset and blaming someone else for their life and not taking responsibility.

Yes. Of course you have to create value for someone before they pay you money. That's how it works.

The good news is you can learn to create something of value if you want it bad enough. If not, no one can help you.

  • Sorry bud, you tried and you failed... and we've all been there. You already missed the affiliate wave, so unless you have a pre-established website that's doing relatively well or a strong network - it's not happening until you provide the site with everything it needs to flourish, which is too time consuming.

The only way to make money is to sell. Don't have a product to sell? Find someone who can create one... like me. Oh, you don't know how to sell either? Learn how, because that's something you will use throughout your entire life.

Enough of the ranting... Do you have any networks or niche-specific industries that you have a connections with?

Why can't I make money by being on the thing that I enjoy the most with my free time?
Because you are lazy, you rather play video games on the computer. What you are looking for is an easy button, you can buy those at Staples. You don't have the drive to finish a project. If you are a gamer, then maybe you should make game guides, since it's something you love, and have a better chance of following through with it.

I'm not sure why so many people keep saying this guy has a bad mindset and that's what needs to change. It has nothing to do with his mentality. He's LAZY. Plain and simple.

    His excuse for everything is:

"It's too hard." "I don't know how." "I don't want to learn how to make a video or create a simple website."

How hard is it to Google how to do something? If you want to learn how to do something, you look up how to do it and start DOING IT.

Guess what I've taught myself how to do in the last five years because I knew I needed new skills?

How to code an HTML website from scratch. How to edit Wordpress HTML and CSS and insert new code to customize themes. How to use video editing software. How to make YouTube videos. How to do SEO. How to use Photoshop to make awesome graphics (I'm even creating my first graphics package now). How to network. How to market differently on each different social media platform. How to prospect clients...there's probably more.

The only real skill I started out with was my writing skill.

    Next goal? Teach myself programming.

I didn't buy any courses that taught me how to do any of these things. I used Google and YouTube and searched for tutorials and learned tons of invaluable skills because I decided not to be lazy.

It's a matter of getting off your butt and committing yourself. That is all. There is no bad mentality - only laziness. Anything else is an excuse.

I think everybody starts out like that, knowing nothing about how the internet works.

When I first started, I bought a poker chip affiliate site off of site point, or what ever it was called back then. I was happy as if I hit the lotto. I told my wife, I don't know what I'm doing, but it's a start. The site sat there for a couple of days before I got curious, and found out about web hosting. I asked the guy where is the cpanel login? and a few days later, I moved the site to my own hosting. I learned what affiliates links were, SEO and other stuff by being curious. I didn't make any money from it, but it opened alot of doors.

From this day onwards, I declare my genuine love for you Jennifer!

Seriously, this was EXACTLY the way to put it.

To reply to your "pity party" comment, it's not a pity party. It's the truth. I don't have inner confidence, I don't want your pity, a fact is a fact. I was dealt a bad hand, chances are... you weren't.

If I told you what I have gone through within my family and my disability to walk as a normal person, you would instantly feel how blessed you are.

    Let's talk professional now:

LEARN things through FREE tutorial videos. PROVE to YOURSELF that you are a great online researcher. STOP obsessing about quick money. WORK on it and DON'T be a lazy ass.

But you know what, I am lazy too. But what do I do to make my website sales work for me? I create a system to automate all the time and effort I have invested upon it to bring me more 'money value'.

The first sale will never be easy (probably one of the top 3 hardest things to do when it comes to marketing) but once you do make a sale, it will be a proof in itself that you are on the right path. Building a drop shipping business/ e-commerce, again, would require investment. You need to buy bulks, setup a professional store, track your customer queries etc. How about putting all that cash into a learning program?

^^^ I can just feel how many IM coaches here would be thinking that 'I cannot work with this guy' - let alone considering you as a good candidate for enrolling.

This is a forum where people come for advices which can improve their current business strategies or to analyze why their current game plan isn't working for them. Perhaps you need a therapist to bring you on track.

If you still aren't sure, you should quit and consider looking for a good-fitting job.

A YouTube channel is the easiest way. Your second best bet would be Ebay. It's always best to start off with an idea where the traffic problem is already solved for you. The reason why most people fail online is because they can't generate enough targeted traffic to their websites.

Change a few sentences in this thread and add a few paragraphs where you finally found the solution to your problem. Bingo! You have a sales pitch!

The 1st thing I would do is work on your mindset. There are lots of videos on You Tube (some shown above) that will help you. There are many personal development videos by Dr. Wayne Dyer, Bob Proctor, Anthony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Deepak Chopra and so many others.

Well... If he was ever hesitating about ending it all, this thread just might make him do it.

iiXeno,... the fact that you've tried so many things shows that you are not lazy. You, however, have not focused on any one thing... which explains why you have failed at all.

You want to be a marketer, guitarist, gamer, bodybuilder and Batman... all at the same time.

Focus on one passion. Work at it... and don't stop till you master it.
That's really all there is to it.

I read a forum post that recently had a spotlight put on it from WF through email. It was something like money is just a side effect or something like that.

People coming into IM thinking its quick cash. Well it's IMers fault for doing that to people to begin with. My experience finding out about affiliate and IM in general was from "LazyAssStoner" on youtube making it seem easy and quick... but it's not and so many people like me get hung up on not being successful and make threads like this.

One of my biggest fears is spending money I don't have for a product that might be a scam and that's why I don't want to spend anything for IM. I work hard to get paid little and the last thing I want to do is buy an e-book for 38 dollars or the screw95 program for almost a hundred dollars only for it to not work.

So what have you done for yourself to improve your situation the last 3- 4 days since posting your plea for help?

If you are looking for a "sure thing" you will be disappointed. However, I've found that the great majority of things I've bought work if I work it. In other words, those things I've bought in the beginning (and even lately) where I go and DO what is instructed I've made progress.

Those things I've bought early on and had the immediate thought "everyone knows this - this is just rehashed junk" or "there's no way this will work" and didn't move on doing the steps, really turned out to not work. But it wasn't their fault - it was mine for not doing it or even trying it.

Even blaming product sellers shows a lack of responsibility on your part. No one forces us to buy anything. No one took away our self discipline or self control - we gave that up ourselves.

The things that work online are fairly simple and they work if we work them. If we wind up sleeping too much or watching too many movies or playing too many games and don't do what we are supposed to, we won't get the benefit. It's the old we reap what we sow thing.

So it comes back to what have you done the last 3 or 4 days?

      Mark

Mark, I had a fellow WF member send me a private message with something that I think is worth trying for. It's my style, it takes some investing which I don't like right? But after doing a bit of research on the matter, I have been convinced and the only way to see if it truly does work is to try it. I have faith. If I make good progress after some months, I will bump this thread and let you guys know.

There is no cure for laziness.
There is no cure for not wanting to learn.

You must be a wonder kid who were born knowing how to eat and walk right away.

Everything in life is a learning process, eating, walking, talking, writing, video, setup wordpress and so on.

You want to be good at writing? Start writing every single day for an hour, and post it. You should be happy if you received any critique because it means you actually have traffic that read your post.

You want to be good at video? Start shooting video every day, upload it to youtube. Actors go to acting school to learn how to act, get a small part in the a movie before they become a big star, and in due process thousands of actor wannabe become homeless and life in a street.

Your ability to write a pity story is a skill by itself.

If you want to quit, now is the best time to quit and do something more meaningful with your life, like staying online on facebook, looking at the funny video and share it. Btw, that's how buzzfeed get their traffic.

So that's just the thing about making money online. If you're going to follow exactly what others enjoy doing, you're likely going to hate it. I make a handful of videos, but I write a few thousand words per day. If you don't like to write, but you're a superstar at making infographics.....wouldn't you be miserable with my process?

Find what works and keep at it. Too often, people want to be told exactly what to do, instead of simply doing!

I would hate it, but I would filter out answers and suggestions beforehand anyway so that I wouldn't have to start something I don't like at all to begin with.

Also, that "thing" I was talking about is a ponzi, so that's a no go on that. This is why I am so reluctant to invest like I said in the beginning. Stuff like that, I know happens all the time. Didn't invest much anyway, not too phased by it.

Also I'm making some changes. Moving back to my home state has me all jazzed and happy again, I'm thinking I can invest more time now into building a niche site or a blog or anything that I decide to take on. Yes.... blog.... yes I hate writing, but like the woman said before, I'm going to have to learn. Also I think that if I just browse around for relevant, pop culture, or interesting events, and random stuff I'm interested in and give my take on it. It would be as if I was just explaining my opinion to someone in real life.

If you hate writing there is a lot more to getting good at it than just learning to like it. I think that, while some writing is involved in business of any kind, that you are setting yourself up for failure if you start out doing something you hate.

What about videos? Or audios? Or focusing on building an email list where a typical email may be a lot shorter than a typical blog post so there is less writing?

What about outsourcing some parts of this? What about taking some good PLR and making it your own - any writing you do should be lessened if it's good PLR.

There is a point where we all need to suck it up and just do what it takes - such as going to work in the morning or finding a job. But when people start a business doing something they hate, I think that is bad start all the way around.

not everyone starts out like a professional and knows exactly what they are doing. It takes time, effort and the will to learn to succeed. You say you suck at writing, and don't understand wordpress, and you may think that is a disadvantage to yourself, but everyone has the same ability to learn. Nobody starts off as a great writer, a youtube sensation who ISN'T awkward at a few videos in the beginning, or a whiz when it comes to designing websites, the main thing is to start and take action. If you're willing to put in effort and to practice and learn those things, you'll definitely succeed.

    cheers.

That screenshot was actually very discouraging. I was hoping to live full-time online in one to two years.

He wasn't telling you that negativity is marketable. He was telling you that something about your post elicited emotions from people and made them respond. He was telling you that if you could figure out the formula you used in your original post, you could replicate it and use it to succeed in any niche you wanted.

    My thoughts:

    1) Pick one path to earn money online which is proven way and many other people are already making money from it.

    2) I suggest starting with clickbank affiliate marketing because it is a relatively easier method and gives good commissions (like 50-70-% or more).

    3) Just learn each and every step of making money from clickbank and try to master them. Why cannot you make money from a method, when others are making 5 or even 6 figures income from it (clickbank)?

    4) Divide the whole process of making money from clickbank in following steps and then pay full attention to master each and every step.

A- Learn how to pick a main topic/niche for your website. Also learn to find 100 top keywords for your website that have good demand and relatively lesser competition.

B- Learn to select good affiliate products from clickbank that have higher conversion rates.

C- Learn to make a good website and add relevant content using keywords you selected. Embed clickbank affiliate links within your content to earn money.

D- Learn how to turn your website visitors into subscribers. Then learn how to communicate them regularly to earn more money.

E- Learn methods to drive free and paid traffic to your website. Some sources are youtube, slideshare.net, commenting, FB fan page etc.

    Good Luck!

That was my answer though. Negativity is what made you guys respond. It irked people, and so a response was made to stroke egos and to make me feel like I was corrected or taught something.

I've tried clickbank, then again without a site, I'm sure it's hard, but I don't feel comfortable selling scammy products, they look scammy to begin with, how can anyone not see that? That's why they're tough to sell. I've put up 7 different advertising campaigns with 7 different CB products on an advertising website with a bunch of click throughs but no conversions. They all had great grav and were the some of the best ones in that targeted niche.

I'm just focusing on Wealthy Affiliate right now, going through the training, building my website up in a niche of my choosing and will just try and do some affiliate marketing work through various different companies.

Honestly today you need some skills....or some serious money to pay others

You should apply yourself to learn some skills

if you decide to work "offline" then you will need to learn sales skills

no skills, no money to invest, nothing is going to happen face it

instead of buying more money making schemes you could take a course in webdesign, graphic design, a writing course or whatever, have something to offer

You've got to create value for other people. Making a site to send someone to an affiliate link isn't necessarily value.
