Landing page perfected, now I need more traffic

Some friendly Warriors have helped me make my landing page better here: "Landing page feedback".

Now I need some targeted traffic - Web Deveopers, SaaS Customer Service Consultants, Web Agencies.
I'm posting here, because there are separate forums for CPM/CPL, PPC and Social Media - and I'd like to know your suggestions, what would be the best in my case.
What do you think?

Facebook ads might be a good place to start as you can get really targeted.

As for your landing page when I first clicked on it my brain just got instantly confused to what you actually do and what your page is going to do for me.

    Might be just me. haha!

  • It's a bit confusing, but the idea is good. You can try to drive traffic from PPC campaigns or from Video Marketing. I think you are targeting Web programmers, coders and web designers, so try to join other related forums.

I'm lost but, are you looking for one of these companies/owners to hire you? I'm not sure what you're offering. But advertise in places where they will most likely hangout at online:

    - Forums
    - Blogs
    - Facebook fan pages
    - Email newsletters

And even run Google content ads specifically on sites that line-up to what you're offering.

I could put at the top of the landing page something like this "Hey Developer, troubleshooting a webite issue with your customer again? Need to know their browser details?"
But I'm sure Web Developers understand the message without it. As for the others (outsite the target group) - I don't think it is neccessary to include additional explanation for them.

Regarding the traffic. I think forums could be worth a shot.
Most forums don't allow any promotional posts, but I guess they all offer some kind of ads.

Your landing page is a bit confusing, I'm also not sure why I would sign-up - the offer needs to be clear, in the header...

    But about traffic...

There's a lot of different ways. Guest posts wouldn't hurt. Find popular blogs in your niche and send them a guest post request. Facebook ads... are tricky... sometimes they deliver results, sometimes they don't, and sometimes Facebook bans your account all together...

I understand what service you're offering, but I don't think you'll be very successful with it.

You mentioned targeting web developers, consultants, web agencies ect - These type of people would already know how to quickly retrieve that information. Off the top of my head, I can think of three different ways -

    Google Analytics

    Php - $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']

    JS - jQuery.each( jQuery.browser, function( i, val ) {
    $( "<div>" + i + " : <span>" + val + "</span>" )
    .appendTo( document.body );
    });

Are you offering this service free? I think if it's a paid service, you'll end up reminding the client he might need this feature, and prompt them to spend 20 seconds and build it for themselves.

    Path,

OMG! You revealed the entire code od our website!
    Please delete it ASAP!

Take look at yourbrowser.is - check your customer's web browsing environment in seconds and you will see that it's more than that.
Some specific detections (Java, Flash, Silverlight), databases (browsers, mobile devices), social logins, ad blockers, etc.

In theory, Web Developers could build all the tools that exist out there by themselves. So they wouldn't be using any web apps at all.
In such world many simple but great tools would't even exist. But they do and they sell.

    Yes, the service is free.
Next week I'm introducing a PRO version which will offer more customizations, customer feedback functions and connection speed measuring.

I will give Bing Ads a try, thanks.

Regarding making the landing page more understandable - I have a problem here. I'm unable to explain it more clearly in a short and atractive way.

You have a typo in your landing page, "explaining them how to find their browser versions"
should be "explaining [to] them how to find their browser versions."

Well, I would suggest yo set up some ad campaigns, this will definitely drive targeted traffic your way. And as far as free methods go, guest posting, blog commenting, forum posting ecc., on websites with niches similar to yours are great methods to drive traffic!

Nothing's "perfect," and especially if you haven't tested it yet...

    Good job taking action, though!

    You're right.
I know I need to try this and that.
But with your help I should be able to save some money limiting my tries to the channels that are more likely to work.

^ Don't get me wrong. I think you're on the right track by moving forward and taking action now. That's HOW you test, right?

I was just nitpicking the word and not being 100% serious. I'm not that cynical.

If I were you, I'd make it more clear exactly what you're offering (or the benefits thereof) at that first glance of the page. You don't have to do a traditional IM-style headline, but you DO want something to pop and make it IMMEDIATELY clear what you're offering.

Maybe by making the "Learn your customer browser details, without even
having to ask" more of a headline, though I would focus more on the BENEFIT of knowing the customer browser details (I like the without having to ask part).

But you may be able to keep it as is depending on your presell/ads. Your setup will play a large role in how prepped people are when they arrive.

If you've got the budget, try some PPC. Or go for some well-selected banner advertising.

    Just do your homework first.

    You should try BUYSELLADS

I tried BuySellAds with other projects (including the one from my footer).
The possibilities are great, but I find their offer rather expensive.
