Alright, you mention keyword search but how do I set this up. If I've got the information I've mentioned do I go to a website, create a website or what. As I said newbie. Will keyword search explain all this to me. Sorry folks I'm not dumb just ignorant

Where do you normally go to do your keyword research? I've heard so many different places and I really don't know which to use? I would assume Google would be the best no?

Yes yes good old google. There are a lot of tools out there but I often find all their features distracting. Get some good keywords and start driving traffic through your hop links.

  You promote the hoplinks on your own blog or website. Many article directories don't allow hoplinks/affiliate links. And many forums such as wf don't allow hoplinks/affiliate links in your sig line.
  
  If you don't have a blog or website, set up one. Start out with blogger.com if you have to, although a blog on your own domain is better, you have more control.
  
  Use the articles to drive traffic to your blog and the content on your blog to convince visitors to buy.

  As you can probably tell you're dealing with an idiot on this end. I'm self taught on the computer as well as everything else. Medical reasons have been the reason for me trying this out. I have know blog or website and am trying to do this with little or no money at all. If you can take the time I more or less need a step by step of how I proceed with this. I thank you for your help.

  You have your clickbank product picked right? I'll try to walk you through this. Go get a set of 10 keyword phrases from the link for google adwords. Then report back here. You don't have to post them here just let me know when you have chosen them. The phrases should be from 3 to 5 words long.
  
  Set up a blog at http://www.blogger.com it's free.
  
  Use one of the keyword phrases as the url of your blog on blogger.

  Sorry it has taken me this long. I'm getting very frustrated just trying to figure out the simplest of things. I've never done a blog and don't even know how to set one up. I've checked out examples but to be quite honest with you I don't know if I can do this unless I can get actual ways or instructions on how to build the blog. I know about the adwords & adsense & have gone to blogger but still don't have a clue of how to set it up. I can't find anything that can show me how to do this. If there is anyplace you know that I can go for this I would appreciate it. I know it will be a long process but somehow I'll do it. I want to thank you for your help and kindness.

I guess information overload should be a concern. By reading these forums one get get really overloaded with information. Remember, just like going to school/college, it takes time for your mind to digest information and to make some form of a semblance out of it. Don't rush the learning process too much. All in good time you will learn the lingo, tricks, tips, short-cuts, methods, scams, etc.

Google Keyword tool use the option to scan the website of the affiliate product you want to promote. I would recommend taking those and use some you can compete for but also think outside the box and look laterally of who your target market could be.

Look for words that get a couple of hundred searches a day and have high competition from advertisers. That means that advertisers are willing to buy those phrases and that means buyers use them to search. Make a list of those keyword phrases. Go to google and pop them in. Look at the competition - number of sites those words appear on - and if there are any sponsored sites. Then put the keyword phrase in quotes to see how many sites use that phrase.

Refine the list down to about 10 or 12 sets you want phrases that are searched often but don't have a lot of competition.

Write articles using each one of the keywords. Use the keyword in the title, and twice in the body of the article. In the bio box link to your blog/site using your main keyword phrase. Have a call to action in the bio box: free report, See reviews, free trial, whatever. Submit to ezinearticles and other article directories.

That should start some traffic going to your blog/site.

Hey Driftwood,

I would suggest setting up a blog and presell your offers. Search engines love blogs and you can rank much higher. Make your titles keyword rich, your categories keyword rich, spread the keywords in your content a few times but too many times.

You can use blogger.com by google they will index it right away.

Keep updating it Richard this helps keeping it fresh. You want to give good content that can help people and but your offer at the end or with anchor text in the content itself.

Here's a step-by-step blueprint for getting started in article marketing, and it talks about using blogger as a landing page. I don't think the instructions can get much simpler than this (I'm actually using it myself right now). Good luck!

You say you are just starting out, but you have chosen "some" products. You may find it easier to focus if you start with one product and take through the full campaign development process.

* Keyword Research
* Site or Blog Creation
* Content Creation
* Marketing and Advertising
* Testing and Tweaking Marketing Campaigns

The best way to learn is to start reading. There is a lot to learn but you can do your own OJT by setting things up as you gather information.

You will soon discover that one of the most difficult task in operating an online business and doing online marketing is maintaining focus. Get ONE project accomplished then parlay your profits into the next few projects.

Start searching on the topics mentioned above by searching the forum.
