Does anyone have an excellent product to share on how to write/draft an email campaign?

Steps, Videos...videos would be best. Just a good showing of how to put together a profit pulling email campaign?

relationship building, expertise and product promotions?

What are thoughts about done for you email campaigns?

    I think John McCabe's Kindle e-book is a good start: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009BUCFBW

It's not a "how-to" guide if I recall correctly, but a short e-book teaching you the right mindset for email marketing. Which is to say it's better than a how-to guide.

Alexa Smith's posts on email marketing are also incredibly valuable.

  • The thing with writing effective relationship building emails, is to not try too hard. What I mean by this, is don't tray to write an affiliate mail that you think will sell to every one on your list. Instead just imagine you are writing to one friend.

Write your mail as if it was going to your friend and you just happen to be recommending a product or service to them. Picture their reaction as you write the mail. It is far easier to come up with something when you are only thinking of the reaction of a single fiend, rather than a whole list of strangers.

You also mentioned done for you campaigns. I personally think these are a great idea (especially when you are just starting out, or just don't have the time to come up with regular mails). Not only will they save you time and effort, you can also learn from them so that eventually, you possibly don't need them.

However I would say even with these I would still spend a small amount of time to perhaps add a line or two to the beginning or end, just to add a little of your personality.

In this way you have the best of both worlds; someone to do most of the work for you, and a little bit of your personality in there as well.

    l hope this helps

Fantastic question! You can type your questions into google and youtube to find some very good answers.

You pretty much sumed it up when you said to build that relationship. It will reflect in your writing if you are writing from the heart and not your wallet!

My experience and what I have learned from the more experience than me is you want to mix the content. Provide the value and give a lot of free information away but while not giving to much at the same time and giving a reason to visit your site.

Also don't be afraid to send some emails directly for sales. Let your list know you are in business and have products to suggest.

You need to optimize your email campaign just like you do your websites to keep conversions up!

You do know that Get Response has full training and they are the one's I'd trust over people releasing their own products. Not that there aren't fantastic email building and relationship building courses, but you can do a trial and get the training free.
