Made 250$ in 2 days, What can I do?

Hi, I recently bought a fiverr gig for 10$ and resold it for 250$ profit and to be honest, I didn't think it would ever happen.I found someone in need of a 3D logo intro and I managed to deliver what he wanted.

My question is, based on your experience or so, in what would be the best to invest this money in order to scale up? Please keep in mind that I am fairly new to internet marketing, I am only doing this for 4 months now, only made some money in the last 2 weeks

    Congrats on your sale!

There are a hundred different things you can do.

If I were starting today, I'd start building an email list right away.
That takes you to email marketing, affiliate sales, and product creation.

I recommend that you find a good, basic coaching program as that will
    speed up your learning curve.

I think scaling up in what you just successfully did will be the best way to do it, it's simply because it's proven you can do it yourself.

e.g. invest in something related to your gig service, maybe software to save the time producing the same result manually, stuff like that.. hope you get me.

Congratulations on your profits. My advice is: keep doing that. It is called arbitrage and it can be very profitable, not to mention the most time-consuming part is to actually find a client, after that it's fairly easy to find someone willing to do the job for a fraction of the price you're going to sell.

That's awesome you made some decent dough.

You didn't specify how you found the customer willing to pay $250 for the 3D logo, but if it's possible I would try and find more customers the same way you found this.

Also offer other 3D related services to people and build your private list of Fiverr sellers to complete the tasks.

    The rest is pretty simple.

  • I honestly feel like if you on could do it once, you could do it again.

I recommend investing your money into nothing but your bank account. Save it.

Do what you did to resell that gig. When you get to several thousands of bucks, then you could go on and invest all that money into bigger things.

I recommend reselling the gigs at smaller prices though just to make sure you make more sales and get more cash coming in.

Try to do it again in at least 5 other gigs. Document everything that you do and look for the winning strategies. Create a step a step by step ebook guide and sell it online for others to duplicate.

After that, you reinvest your other earnings in affiliate marketing. Build your list and sell valuable and helpful products in the long run.

Personally, you'd be amazed what kind of offers you can find on free classifieds sites. If you live near a larger city on the 'gigs' section, you're bound to find people looking for different services offered on Fiverr that are willing to pay $50 to $100 for what they will receive. It's definitely possible to continue finding offers for those kinds of jobs online- especially on free classifieds.

My advice would be this: if you know how to do it, do it. It's generic, but it's sound.

You got lucky. It was a fluke and not something you could scale up. On Fiverr anyway.

You could do what a ton of other people try to do and find CL gigs and get hired for them. Outsource the work to a poor shmuck on Fiverr for $5-10 and pocket the difference. There are a lot of firms and web solutions companies that do this kind of arbitrage. If it sticks and you develop a brand, you can hire overseas laborers for about $500/month and churn out these kinds of solutions while pocketing the difference. Get referrals, market, and advertise to grow.

Then, you can turn around and sell it all to an investor/company for a lump sum of cash. Then you can use those funds to start your next entrepreneurial project.

Once. There's a word for that in life. It's called a 'fluke.' When it's repeated a dozen times or more, you have something. Until then, it's a one-off.

First of all, I would turn this experience into a WSO if you feel comfortable giving up this information. It would potentially help lots of people.

As for scaling the actual 3D design business, You could sell your services on all of the freelance sites. You could create a website to collect design leads to offer more services in the future. You could use classified ads (newspaper and internet) to get more leads, etc.

There are tons of things you can do to get more clients but you should also think about the potential bottle neck you have when it comes to delivering your finished product. It seems like you only have 2 providers to finish your 3D designs. If you start really taking off and getting tons of clients then your 2 providers will be way to busy to finish all of your work. I think it would be wise to use some of your profit to test 5 to 10 more fiverr gigs to find the best quality 3D designers available so that you have more options for when you have a larger number of clients to do work for.

I'm going to have to agree with a few others and say invest in some small coaching. This way you can take away all of trhe guess work when doing all the techniques that people are recommending to you. Eliminate the learning curve.

What you are doing is known as Arbitrage. This is when you find a customer, look for a service or product provider and act as the middle man. This method works if you find something that is in demand. The trick is to rinse and repeat for as long as it is working and you will make money. If you can also find more that one product or service to sell then you can really scale it up. Good luck. You are on the right track

This could very possibly be the absolute worst thread that I have ever witnessed on this forum.

How many $250 3D logos do you think can be sold? This was a fluke, a one-off, getting struck by lightening. None of you can understand this? No one? Not one person will say, "You are probably right. The chances of repeating this are slim and it is NOT a viable business model."

This is pure insanity, plain and simple. lol

This is basically what I do with my company AvalancheROI. My current goal is automation. Eventually you get there, but it takes a lot of work to automate what is basically a service based business.

Biggest advice, try to find your niche. 3D logos might be a niche, but I have a feeling you'd be better off not niching that far down. Maybe, video intros. Companies and brands need intros for their video marketing efforts. Whatever your niche is, build an email list with those people.

  • Profile picture of the author bizgrower
That is a good amount of money, but not enough to "scale" up, or build a list as of yet.

Besides, who would be interested in being on a list by a guy or gal who resold one 3D logo?

If I get on a list, it's because I believe the person can provide me with valuable knowledge,
services or products, or referral to services or products or other information I need or want.

Build a list after you are very, very knowledgeable in a subject that others are interested in.

Anyway, OP, keep studying as much free information as you can. $250 ain't a lot in terms
of investing in a venture, or getting effective coaching.

Save the $250. Don't quit your day job.

Don't limit yourself to 3d logos. Sell related things such as regular logos, print design, business card design... Keep selling the same way you sold the 3D logo until you repeat enough times to know you have a stream of income and effective pricing. Then go deeper into your markets and the way you serve them, and the medias (print, online, offline, video, TV, Radio, direct mail - however) you use to serve them.

There are so many ways you can help yourself or others via marketing.

As mentioned by another Warrior in another thread, make sure you are operating ethically and legally when dealing with intellectual property rights.

It is highly probable that you wont be able to consistently achieve the same margin. That said there is every chance that you could do it again and still make a reasonable profit. That is totally fine, you don't need to make a huge margin every time, just a magin.

If you can achieve it rinse and repeat. Consider options for outsourcing some of the sales process or finding the buyers with needs.

Over time look at diversity and picking up some good coaching is a great idea to give you a jump start.

    Hi bgabriel,

It all depends on what you want to do in your business really, because everybody on this forum could tell you thousands of different ways to reinvest that money, and you would still have to pick one of them!

The fact is that if your strategy is working, then maybe it is best to just continue that for a while, so that you can research and properly look into what you want to do next?

Just bear in mind that a common key to success online (in many different types of online business) lies in developing a highly-responsive email list.

Just be sure that you bear that in mind in your plans.

I think you should use these funds as start up capital for your own online business and treat it exactly as such. If you adopt this mindset and discipline, them your approach would be that you have just started your own online business with $250

Now you have to give your online business the attention and resources it needs to thrive, which means you have to resolve in your mind that you will take the time to find a niche you love or have experience in, invest in the proper training to build and host your website/s and learn about mastering the disciplines of keywords, rankings, content, and quality conversion traffic. If you are in this for the quick buck, you wont last, but if you want to make this a profitable venture, it will require your time, dedication, and resources, which will definitely lead to a highly profitable business.

The last thing I wanted to mention was that you are fortunate to earn so much ROI in such a short time in the online business market so capitalize on this blessing and work it!

There were some WSOs about 4 years ago on how to buy services like that at a low price and resell them for more. Since you have done that once, I would search the old WSO threads and contact the authors to see if you can get copies of the old WSOs. Seems like the best use for the money.
