o no, stay away from plr if your going after the serps! You need to either create your own content or outsource it but just make sure its original material. Personally I stay away from all content re-writing scripts. There are a couple but....

I always write my own stuff or pay someone to do it for me -- I would never use PLR -- you got Google for that.

I wonder there are still people who buy plr articles.

Here is a suggestion, if someone gives you 1000 PLR articles for free - take them but never use them.

I personally write my own stuff. With that said, I've always been a good writer. If you purchase PLR, you're going to have to re-write it, especially if you're going to use it on a blog or something. If you choose to go this route, I recommend you check out plrminimart.com by Tiffany Lambert. Not only is she a trained writer, but she also knows how to write content for the internet that converts into sales. If you check out her blog, she also provides you with all kinds of tips to use PLR and stuff -- tiffanylambert.com/blog.

While PLR articles are terrible for website content, they're great for email marketing and ebooks. That's really what they should be used for, anyway.

Repackaging a few articles into a short ebook to give away as a free gift or re-purposing a bunch into a longer, niche-specific guide is a great way to deliver content when you don't have the time to write it, yourself.

If you're using PLR articles on your actual website, you're doing it wrong.

For my blogs, most of them I have written my own original content. A few of my more obscure ones I have put in a few syndicated Articles from EZA here and there

Definitely do not use any PLR stuff on my site. Now, maybe 8 years ago I was... Spinners and all that jazz. hahaha. I like the suggestion above if you are going to use PLR to use it in newsletters or ebooks.

I write everything myself although I wouldn't mind hiring some people to write original articles for me if they were really good.

  • Personal content is great for SEO.

However, PLR content is great if you are not dependant for SEO traffic

I always write my own articles, although I have nothing against outsourcing, especially if the blog owner needs to focus on SEO, promotion, ecc.

For me, part of the beauty of having my own blog is that I can write how I feel about subjects. I can give my opinion. I can give my views. From my own unique perspective.

People will generally follow a blog for those reasons, once you start adding generic content, then it loses its appeal.

If people can't be bothered writing their own stuff, then I'd suggest blogging isn't for them!

Most of the time I write my own content myself. But sometimes, when I have no time to write the content, while I use a write (Freelancer). I hired him from a freelancing market place. good service.
