I need a landing page and autoresponder. I've used getresponse's free trial and its pretty frustrating. However, I don't want to break the bank. Any suggestions?

I'm currently using Getresponse for both my landing page creation and autoresponder, and I think it works quite well.

Yes, there aren't the best templates for landing pages, but that's something you can work around. You can even take a look at some of Leadpages top templates and get pretty close to copying the design yourself.

GetResponse is the only service I know for sure that provides both landing pages and autoresponder services for such a low price, maybe Aweber does?

Are you able to create a sales funnel on Getresponse that lets you send leads to an opt-in, then forward them to a sales page?

Do you mean that after they opt-in to your list, they are directed to a sales page? You can do this by setting a "Custom Thank You Page" when setting up the landing page (in the steps after you actually do the design).

I used to be an aweber guy but so far I really love Getresponse. One of the things I like about Getresponse is that they have a live chat support.

For the squeeze pages, salespages, and other landing pages, you may want to use Leadpages. You can then integrate it with getresponse.

    Rock on.

I would agree with this, if you are able to afford both, Leadpages I think has better tools and templates for landing page creation!

I've tried Aweber, self hosted options and now Get Response. In my opinion Get Response is the best option for me so far. I'm loving it. What is frustrating about it to you?

Talk about spam. Godaddy is the worst and they aren't even an email provider like the OP is looking for. Geez.

The subscription fee structure of Getresponse is variable...the more the subscribers the higher the fee. If you consider the Conversion rates average, you need to have a higher subscriber list for increased profits. This is the reason I personally do not use Getresponse. I use TrafficWave as their fee is flat whether your subscriber is 100 or million. You may need to take the service of Leadpages or 1Minute sites or Squeezematic or any other app for creating your Landing pages but if thinking Long Term thats a fair and economical deal.

Alright - so I decided to go with Leadpages and Getresponse.

However, I have a noob question. I published my opt in page using leadpages and they gave me a URL from their hosting. But will I lose conversions without using a "real domain?" In other words, will people get scared off if my domain is leadpages.net/etc etc.

And if I should buy a real domain, can I still use LeadPages as my host?

If you're looking for an affordable email service provider that's also user friendly go with Aweber. I've been using their services for over 4 years. Great deliverability and the customer support is second to none,it's all I've ever used. But GetResponse is enough to get the job done. Other options are Mail Chimp or iContact.

If you are not sure it's a possibility to try free trial version of GetResponse on their official site www.getresponse.com/ In my opinion it's the best email marketing software cause Aweber don't have custom autoresponder and email templates. Also if you're an Google Analytics user you should try GetResponse not AWeber or iContact.

    Hi,
I am using Getresponse and they are pretty good. I think you don't know how to use their tool properly. I suggest reading their help section to understand basic steps. It took me 3 days to figure out all settings etc.

Getresponse and Awber are 2 top autoresponders in industry these days.
