I keep posting jobs for erotica and adult romance, every time I do so this happens:

Yet as I have noticed on Odesk for the last few months...other people do the same and theirs NEVER get removed:

What the **** am I doing wrong here?

Well, it might be because you used some words that are considered inappropriate? Did you contact support and ask them?

I never faced any such problem on odesk, you should check with their support and get instant response straight from them, they provide really good support services, you should some time doing live chat with them and most probably the will give you a solution for your problem within few minutes.

They just give me the "no adult content" spiel but they cannot give me any answer as to why other people are able to do it and I cannot!

You can't use certain words that are too profane. I don't think the words Erotica and Romance are what triggers your listings to be rejected. Otherwise, contact them and ask them specifically what you have done wrong.

Due to the Adult romance, the Upwork/ Odesk & Elance trach the ADULT. so there may problem. The Upwork & Elance are joined together. so they may use same coding for this. You should try to another. Thanks

They are simply trying to get that sort of stuff off their site....it's been in their terms for years that you're not allowed to post for anything adult topic related. Since they're close to finishing the merger though, I guess they're starting to get more serious about enforcing the rules.

So for you, just turn to sites like Craigslist instead or post your jobs on Freelancer.

Why do they both have an erotica.writer category as a skill if erotica.writing is banned?

And why do people post jobs and not get deleted?

I do notice they charged me $5 for posting the verified job, deleted it and did not refund me, nor replied to the email I asked them about it!

Don't use Craigslist or Fiverr it is a waste of time unless you are actually doing cheap hardcore erotica stories as opposed to "50 Shades of Grey" (not that it s that good). Just ensure you do not use "erotica writing" as a skills set. Don't use the word in the title - replace with words like: hot, steamy, saucy, juicy (you get the idea). Check other peoples listings and copy that. Best of luck.
