I had no intention of weaving some magical air of mystery, however. This is how it works. Serious marketers devote themselves to uncovering, testing, and optimizing marketing methods, and they do so in a costly and dynamic and competitive environment. In plain, practical terms, the endeavour often amounts to working 10 to 16 hour days, often 6 and 7 days a week, spending thousands a week on information and other business outgoings, and devoting your mind and your energies to furthering your income as opposed to your health, your relationships, and a plethora of other things that regular people take for granted. It is unlikely, then, as perhaps you now see, that such people would spy a thread about marketing methods, and decide to merely toss all of their hard-earned information away, as if they acquired it as easily as they might catch a common cold or buy an espresso from Starbucks. The industry is not as simple as you perceive. Nor as cute and cuddly as the gurus would have you believe, either. It is, in a nutshell, a hard slog. I'm more than happy to help people in a public setting (a glance at my previous forum posts will tell you that I help more than most), but the best marketing methods? Those that have been earned, and earned hard? No one but a fool would toss them on a forum. If you're going to make it in this industry, you need to wake up. This is a business.
