Another $175 for 10 minutes of work

Hi there,
Here is my last post in which i discussed how i made $2750 in one week. I am still doing the same thing and getting good response.Last Sunday, I got a gig that I want to share with you people from which I made $175 for just 10 minutes of work. Although it was not a simple gig but experience and practice makes it easy. The gig was to make an animation video for 1 minute. The gig was settled at $100 but he kept on changing his script and kept on testing different things in the video. I offered him 3 revisions but after that he himself said that he will pay an extra 75 bucks for that. He was a good client from New York. Hopefully will get more gigs from him as he has said at-least.
Thank you for your time and have a fabulous day.

If the OP is legit then great, i never begrudge others good fortune but...
What has his 2 posts added to the community except for maybe giving hope to the hopeless?

Maybe if he offered newbies a glance at the how/why/where's then i would agree with you but just posting everytime he says he makes a easy sale is no good to man or dog...

Any details? As I understand, you're talking about Fiverr.
I know that it is difficult to sell video animation online, because it is easy to make doodle video using software like videoscribe, easy sketch pro.
Or you can find freelancers, who would charge 5-10$ per video.
Why do people pay hundreds of dollars instead of spending $5-10 for the same quality?

I am not on fiverr, I do it myself. Ther are people who would pay much more for premium services rather than 5-10. Do your homework and find them.

do you find them in your local area or online cause it's too hard to find someone that willing to pay this amount of money for a gig where he can found it on fiverr for only 5$

I am charging very low fee as compared to some website that are offering same services at $599/minute and even more if you want something extra. More than that there are few that are charging even $1000-$1500/minute

Not sour grapes, no. His post was just him going 'look at me, I made $175 for 10 minutes work, aren't I great?' and he was just bragging and looking for an ego boost from all the replies he'd great going 'wow, that's great!'.

He didn't offer anything of value in his post, no info about how to make money that anyone else could use. So I stand by my view that he was simply bragging. We don't need posts like that on here.

I have to agree. While I am very happy for the OP that he is having success, I see no reason to continue posting about it unless he is willing to go into detail about exactly how it's done.

I've read his last thread and now this one, and all I get from them is someone proclaiming how much money they are making from their work.

There is nothing in either thread that would help a newbie or anyone else to achieve any kind of success. I could sit here and start a thread every time I make a sale, but what would it accomplish? More importantly, who would even give a sh*t?

If you are going to talk about your success that's fine, but corroborate it with hard facts about exactly how you did it and then teach others how they can do it too.

Posts like "I just made $3000 in 24 hours," or the like, are IMO nothing more than plugs for their service unless they elaborate on exactly how it was done. If you don't want to give that information up for free, then maybe go write an ebook or something and make a WSO, but don't use the WF just to brag and pimp your services.

That really isn't what it's for. We're supposed to be helping newbies, and each other to succeed and make money online. I'm not seeing a whole lot of really valuable information being discussed for free on the main forum anymore, and that's a shame.

So, you want me to spoon-feed you? Even if I tell step-by-step process, people like you will still come up and say this is no idea, this idea is not worth it. I was also a newbie once and I spent 6 months trying and wandering here and there just to start making some bucks. In the 3rd month I made first income and that too of just $3. When I started this free-lancing thing, I had no idea in which direction I was heading and nobody was there to guide me, for the first 3 weeks I did not got even a single order even after working 12-14 hours per day (saturday and sunday included) and many times I thought to gave up but I kept doing it. It was only the fourth week when I got my first order and that was of $35. I don't believe in spoon feeding, I have found my own way and so should you if you are really keen and interested. Stop posting negative comments on somebody's post just because you cannot achieve it that other person is doing.
If you do not like my post do not read and STOP wasting your time by commenting such long posts and that too for number of times. Nobody has asked you to read and comment which you are not liking.
It would be very kind of you to read and think what I am trying to say.
        Thank you for your time.

crying? hardly. Name calling? I called you mean-spirited - I could have called you a lot worse - but since I'm a mature woman and this is a public forum - I'll show some restraint.

by the way, this is what you wrote that I had issues with which you think was cool:

hmmm-how do you know for sure? - grant it - lots of people can fake stuff online - personally I never tell people what I make or how because I feel it's none of anyone's business - only my closest friends and family know -
but if this OP is for real - then you just sound kind of bitter and cynical - and there's nothing worse then a bitter cynic in my books. And you just insulted a bunch of people in here by calling them "fake it until you make it gurus" when you don't even know them, do you?

Nah sorry Karen, I'm with the cynics on this one. OP provided pretty much zero value and I wouldn't be surprised if he is bating for a WSO launch. Seriously, think about it. Why would a guy who's business revolves around time management and efficiency take time out of his day to make a thread which provides zero details/value?

I'm bumping this thread as there is some value by the OP, some from the naysayers for those who read this post.

I believe the OP does give encouragement/hope to the newbies and to the ones not so new who have yet to make decent money or any money.

IMO the naysayers/cynics give value on examining what is said and on how it is said.
