wierd/whacky marketing

Came across this 'wierd'/'whacky' video... whoever made it seems slightly disturbed however interestingly enough it seems to be doing quite well (and I actually watched the entire video)...

What do you think?

Come to Spain, there is a conveyor belt somewherer spewing these out at the rate of three or four a week - all aimed at mobile phone owners. This is probably the best subliminal advertising I have seen for a long time.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.

Well, I do think there is something a bit off with the cartoon, which makes it 'addictive' to watch. Something with the bear's mouth (kind of creepy), as well as the 'voice' that they use (kind of an 'electronic' raspy voice). The bear also 'grabs' his private part at least 3-4 times that I can see, plus wags his butt, (and I guess is essentially dancing around in his 'underwear'), so I guess there must be a lot of hidden sexual inneudo. The bear seems like a creepy 70 year-old guy, that is supposed to look young.

Nice find Johnathan. Very creative and like you said weird/whacky.

Should appeal more to the younger folks? ;-)

Here's another one you may enjoy. After this dj scored some major success
with this one, the company actually bought it from him to use as their new video
to replace the original one. (Warrior Justin Mandel showed me this one)
and I believe it's also a good fit for the weird/whacky but effective marketing
    thread. What do you think?
