HELP: How to Deliver a Digital Product and Use Paypal to Collect Money

I created a tripwire course for my blog and I'm setting it up inside a membership site with optimize press.

This is what I want to happen:
They opt-in for free ebook --> sent to OTO video sales letter --> they click the buy button and pay through paypal --> after they pay, they are sent a link or redirected to create an account on my membership site.

I'm having trouble setting this up.
Do I create a paypal button?
How do I redirect them to create a username/password on my membership site after they pay through paypal?

    u need a business account in paypal. thereafter it becomes very easy. gettin business account is free too. after that visit the merchant services tab and u will get the step by step instruction from paypal. fill in some details related to your product and u will get a code which u can copy paste on your website. u will input the url where the customer will be redirected after they make the payment, that would be the membership enrollment page on your site. its very easy, u will not face any problem

    I think you should try using an affiliate platform like JVZoo which manages all these stuff by themselves. Set the oto and other products in jvzoo dashboard , set the thankyou page as the membership sign up page of your site ( as i understand you are offering a membership as OTO ) ..
    Using the builtin optimize press membership or using a membership plugin like WishList Member or Instamember will do the trick too

    (create a redirect link to the video in your optin form so that after the lead gives you their email address, they are sent to the video)

    (create a standard paypal button)

    after they pay, they are sent a link or redirected to create an account on my membership site.
    (when creating a paypal button, it will ask you where you want to send the buyer after the payment. Put a link to your membersite / login page there.)

    Most memberscripts have this sequence taken care of in the actual script.

    If not, it's going to depend on how techie you are.

      I am creating the membership site with Optimize Press 2.0 page builder.

      I understand that you can enter the redirect URL in paypal after they purchase.

      Is there no way to have an automatic email send out after they pay that says something like,
      "thank you for purchasing. Go HERE [membership site link] to create an account and to get access to the course you purchased." ?

        Technically it's all possible, I don't see why not, but I'm not that familiar with your set up. (We use another membership script for our recurring payment sites.)

    Your best option in long term is to install a shopping cart which collects your buyer info like email addresses, connects to paypal , provides automatic downloads ....


    Do a search on google for 'paypal shopping cart'.
