Anyone doing Affiliate Marketing in Pinterest?

I've heard that Pinterest has killed all direct affiliate links on the platform. Pinterest Kills Off Affiliate Links Program, Leaves 'Power Pinners' in the Lurch

I know some people who have spent a lot of time marketing on pinterest and getting good results. Now that affiliate links is banned, I wonder if they have backup plans or Pinterest is not their only income source.

Please share what you think or if this happened to you, what would be your next step to resolve this concern.

    If direct links are out then the only other thing to do would be to switch over the direct links to landing pages. Image based sites and pages would probably work well because the audience is already interested in those kind of sites.
